Hi everyone!

little updates on my trip planning...

just ordered the Pre-Purchase cd from Disneyphotopass.com (thanks for the link on an earlier page!!) - I am sure we will want at least some of the pics from the photopass, and getting the cd & being able to print our own copies wil be great!

Yesterday we got our online immigration forms done, it takes a little while to fill out (especially eight times!!) but it was straight forward and, luckily, we are all allowed into the USA :woohoo: hehe

also signed up for Dollar Rental car 'express' - so that getting our rental car at Orlando International should be quicker

We had a great time at Legoland on Saturday, it was - unusually - warm & sunny in England this weekend which made the day better! The theme park was quite cute, altho obviously no where near disney quality ;) .. but it was nice to spend time all together in a park.. the lines were pretty long & boring (no pre shows or any hidden mickeys to seek out, haha!!)

now to try sort out the Magical Express (having problems getting our TA to add it) or.. make a reservation for a taxi/limo from the airport to the Yacht Club! (does anyone recommend a taxi company?!) .. will be for 6 people, as DBF & his Dad are going to drive to wdw in the rental car with most of luggage :)

I :lovestruc planning!!

45 days to go....

:yay: I can't believe that I now have less than 8 weeks to go. I paid off my trip in February and was wondering when I should be getting my Mickey mail?

I am so excited about my trip and I am sure that the rest of the world is tired of me talking about it already!!

Hey guys! Just a small change to our original plans. We have added one night to our stay, July 18, but we will be staying at Pop Century. We have about a nine hour drive and usually drive it overnight. We thought instead we would get there a day early and stay at a value, let the kids swim in the pool and maybe visit Downtown Disney. This way everyone would get a good nights sleep, check out and head over to WL to check in and get our key to the world cards and head out to the parks. Anyone ever done something like this before?

I know DCL sends out the documents about three weeks before your travel date so I am guessing WDW is about the same. Lois

Again Thank you for the prayers. My Mother-in-law passed peacefully this morning. The wake is Thursday and the burial is either Friday or Saturday- 5 hours from where she lived. It is going to be a very long week.

I am very glad that I worked all weekend. So I will not be as far behind when I return. Lois

YAY everyone is getting closer and closer!!!
Who is our first disney Julier? Woo Hoo to you!

Lois, the worst is over, and I know that this is a hard time... but I am sure that your strength will get you through this week...plus big hugs to you!

We have 5 families arriving on 6/28/09. MACfamily4 @ WL, Disneymomx7 @ BC & Poly, Tinklover900 @ BWV, Disneymmx7 @ BC -CL, and WeRblam @ AKL.

One day closer and still counting!!!!

My condolences to you and your family.. I glad it was peaceful for her.. get some rest because the rest of the time will be very stressful..

Thanks so much!

In the past two weeks, our car broke down ($1600), washer/dryer broke ($2300 new pair), and our dishwasher broke ($1500 new one). New washer was installed Saturday, got one load of laundry done, and it broke!!!

To top things off - someone stole our garbage can:confused3

Now I have to come up with Disney money - $7700.

Melody.... I thought WE were having a bad week. Paid $250 dedectable to have husband's car fixed (unknown car hit it in parking lot), paid $650ish co-payto Chiropracter for treatment plans for me and DD20. Paid $850+ in co-pays to doctor, lab and hosptial for surgery I had in March. Needed glasses ($200), upstairs vacuum burst into flames while in use...:scared1: kids ram RC monster truck into downstairs vac, it plunges down the basement stairs and breaks. this weekend, closet organizer plan lead to new flooring in my walk in closet (laminate chosen--$200). The builder had carpeted around the shelving unit we tore out. We had to pay tuition deposit for DD's college. I'm sure that's not all---so I can definately relate. Luckily we're DVC, so this trip will cost us admissions (for 7 adults, 1 child) for 1 week, food and gas for travel. We will have hotel expenses for 1 night travel each way and for side trip to Melborne to take DS17 to visit a college. We're limited our ADR's severely. Most meals will be made in our Villa kitchen and we'll do QS in the parks if we have to. We do have 1 CB (its a tradition), 1 buffet meal, 1 ADR actual adults only, 1 afternoon tea at the Grand (girls only). Too bad my niece turns 10 this week and we'll have to pay the adult price for her. She's WAY too tall to pass for her own age or younger. :headache:

DD20 wants me to pay for her wedding (date TBD) at the end of this summer!! :rotfl::bride:

I have a DD 10, DS 7 & DS 1. That sounds like fun. I'll look into it.
Thanks!

Hows about Mickey's Winterland Summerland mini golf or the Fantasia Mini Golf? We've been looking forward to trying those. We haven't done mini golf since my DD20 and DS17 were abut 6 and 10! :woohoo:

Yup... we did that last trip. I actually found a better airfare by leaving a day earlier and staying a day later than planned, so we stayed one night at the Pop. I didn't have enough points left for the add-on's at OKW and didn't want to borrow (away from this trip). We stayed our last night at the Pop also. It was so seamless. Disney handled the luggage transfer for us. We enjoyed the cafeteria at Pop for our breakfast too. Its awesome. :yay:

Lois my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I lost my mother-in-law 5 years ago this past mothers day, she was a young 55. You will get through this and the pain will ease with time.

1. Lois, my prayers are with you. She is happy now, she's had her rough time, unfortunately the pain is still with your family. You are in my prayers!

2. I changed some of my ADR's, after I promised DH that part of the planning was done.:lmao: He's not really happy with me right now!

July 11th Yak and Yeti is switched to 1:00, Boma switched to 7:30
July 18th WCC is changed to Chef Mickey's 11:20.

3. Anyone use the magical mountain desktop countdown clock? It's a little bar above your bottom toolbar, and I love it! I have 46 days, 8 hours, 58 minutes, and 57 seconds until check in!
