i felt that way on our most recent trip on just the regular dining plan. My family scheduled quite a few 'extra' meals. one day we did have 3 ADRs, my DH and I passed on the breakfast, we couldn't imagine spending 5plus hours dining that day. with a large party of 14, our meals took at least 90 minutes if not 2 hours each time. It always took the servers forever to process our free dining since we had 5 different rooms sitting at one table. never again. i felt like we spent half our day in the restaurants. and a 2yo in a restaurant for that long is NOT a good idea!ughhhhh now u are stressing meeee out! I was set on doing the reg dining plan but now maybe we should do deluxe.. i just dont want to waste so much of our trip sitting down eating when i could be doing rides
so glad you got it figured out Vicki! i think you made the right decision- with little ones, doing a lot of meals is tough. mine can't sit still that long!LOL sorry. Well if it makes you feel any better I sat down with DH and at first he was do the Deluxe and we will just walk out without using 3 credits or get sandwhiches to go from EOS and then just leave 2. But that was still eating 2-3 big meals a day. It made sense when we went in March because we would eat a breakfast, snack for lunch and then do a signature for dinner. I just don't want to do the signatures with the kids. They are well behaved and would enjoy it but it takes packing more and going back and getting changed and thats too much. Especially since our youngest is autistc, she is high functioning but all that change would be too much. Plus if she has a bad day and I cancel one of our sigs then what.
So all that stress for nothing. Plus what the heck would I do with 80 snack credits![]()

i will get you added!Hi Michelle...I started a PTR..first one everif you want to add it to the list you are keeping. Thanks for all the work you are doing!

I tried sending the OP a PM and posted on here long ago looking for them, no response. so unfortunately, we can't add it in the first post. I did add to my sig, hoping that would help folks locate it too.Wow! Thanks!!!
Is the OP still around? It would be nice to have a link to your list and the ADR list in the first post.
IF they aren't around, could a Mod do it for us?

Yes, we did this and LOVED it. We got a $100 for doing the DVC tour (which we ended up buying DVC!) and we applied it to our room account- i also put some cash down too- so we could use our room key to pay for meals or whatever we needed while in the parks. much easier than carrying tons of cash or gift cards! You can also have the gift card(s) applied to your room at check in and "room charge" everything. It does make you lose track a little more as you sign away (which I guess is part of why Disney doesn't mind) but than you don't have to carry the cards with you
DVC doesn't give out any discounts. in fact, if you are DVC you don't qualify for free dining even anymore (if staying on points). The PINS are totally random. However, you can't get one unless you are in the disney database. So make sure you are registered on the disney web site. I find the more activity I have had, the more apt i was to get a pin code- for example, shortly after i ordered the personalized maps on the disney web site, my DH got a pin code (i used his name to order them). so order the maps, free parks DVD etc. I always respond to surveys they give me too. However, in the last 20 years, I've only received 2 pin codes. One for free dining (which eventually became free to all anyhow) and one for the 40% off deluxe/30% off mods/20% off values. good luck!I keep seeing people say they have discount codes or pins, do they come from DVC or a travel agent?
I'd give anything if my husband had never bought the stupid timeshare he bought over 20 years ago so we could have a DVC which we would actually want to use!!
