On the bright side, when I am there, you will be at home writing a post trip report talking about all the fun you had, and also going through all the pictures the PhotoPass people took. Adding borders and such in preparation of ordering your Photo CD.

I think post-trip can be almost as much fun as pre-trip

We have been on BLT waitlist since May which I have not touched and then I put AKL back on our WL today! Im really hoping one comes through!!!

this will be our 2nd trip to disney but our 1st trip at christmas time!!!!

Why do I have an email box full of monster pin codes for DLR, but none for WDW? Bring on the pin codes Florida!

In the preview do you have your ticker under your picture? The DIS has a limit as to how big the signature can be and will auto correct it to fit. Try putting the ticker next to your picture then it should show up .

we are staying @ All Star Music which is where we stayed last september. and it was completly fine seeing as how we are only in our room to sleep and shower but i just read that pop warner will be there for most of our trip and now i am a little worried

December 12-17 in a one bed at BWV! Going with my elderly parents so they can see all the beautiful holiday decorations! I'm thinking one scooter and one wheel chair because my mother is having a knee replacement this month and my father is in great shape, but he'll be 87 in December! Slow and easy trip (unlike my usual with my teen-aged boys) to take in the magic with them.

I keep seeing people say they have discount codes or pins, do they come from DVC or a travel agent?

I'd give anything if my husband had never bought the stupid timeshare he bought over 20 years ago so we could have a DVC which we would actually want to use!!

DVC givew out no discounts. Our discount is DVC!! The pin codes come from signing up at disney.com and even then its just the luck of the draw. Sometimes going in when you are logged in and planning a vacation and then just closing out before booking will get you sent a code.

Can you do a trade in with your current time share through RCI? People do it all the time.

I know how you feel. We had booked a trip in June with a pin. The night before we left I got REALLY sick (the reason for my surgery), and we had to cancel our trip. (Imagine explaining that one to the kids when they woke up!) Anyway, we are going in December as a "make-up" trip, but we have to go with no pin.

Dec 30th to Jan 4th at AKL, my college graduation and send-off to Navy bootcamp, and 3 years with DBoyfriend. Simply cannot wait, even though the people should be crazy. Any idea as to whether or not crowds will die down after the 1st? I was hoping the last couple days of our trip it would be manageable.

Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend! I just had 4 pages to catch up on.

We decided we are going to make a countdown calendar. Once we get it all done I will have to post pictures for everyone. My in-laws finally booked their flights, so now I have to add them to our ressie. I so cannot wait until we are at single digits!

We stayed at the All Star Music Resort in Dec 2008 and Dec 2009. In 08, the Pop Warner kids didn't bother us since we checked out only a few days after they checked in. However, in 09, it was an entirely different story. No offense to the Pop Warner group and what they stand for. But my goodness. The kids AND their adult chaperones were very, very noisy. Even after 'quiet hours'. I was so upset at the noise they were making one night (this was close to midnight) that I called the front desk and told them what was going on. People were yelling at the top of their lungs! And slamming doors! But not much was done to quiten them down. Our room was at the Broadway section. So, I've learnt my lesson. The next time we visit WDW, I will not be staying at a resort where the Pop Warner kids and their chaperones will be at.

I really hope your experience will be different. We didn't think twice about returning to AS Music in 09 because we had such a good time there the year before. Now though... Perhaps they'll wise up and section off specific buildings for the Pop Warner crowd. Keep the noisy people together. And leave the other guests alone to enjoy WDW in peace. I really doubt that'll happen though. I should have requested to be placed far away from them, but honestly, they were everywhere at the resort. Other than them making a nuisance of themselves late at night, they gave us no trouble at all.
