"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

What time should we call for the MNSSHP tickets? Or should we do it online? I will be away form home but really want to get Halloween tickets!

I don't think you have to worry about them selling out immediately. I've been to 2 MNSSHPs, 1 MVMCP and a Pirate & Princess Party (back when they had those) and I never bought them on the same day they went on sale. I wouldn't wait too long but as long as you get them in the first few days you should be fine. The first MNSSHP I went to, I didn't buy tickets until the day before.

I'm excited, my DH has agreed to the party! Of course, being a giant grump he is refusing to wear a costume and says he isn't waiting in any lines for M&G (we'll see about THAT, he loves Grumpy dwarf, ha!). Soooo, any suggestions for costumes that aren't costumes for a couple? (There's a slim chance our 18 year old son will make it, but it's looking doubtful.)

Has anyone seen a pricing list!! I need to know how much they are so I can make sure and have it in my account I am using

No price list yet. Last year it was cheaper in Sept and got more expensive in October.

Thanks I have another question, Oct 9th is the day we are planning for the party...if I wait until the beginning of June to get them would we still be able to get them you think?

You should be fine. I believe the first sell-out was announced in August last year (and that was for Halloween night, if I'm remembering correctly).

Sorry i haven't read through all of the pages. But is it possible to book a fast pass for hallowishes viewing and the boo to you parade? when i was there last halloween i didnt even think of it.

They don't allow fast passes during the party itself, last year villains soiree people got preferential viewing area though i beleive.

Thank you. I wasn't sure, but it would be a great idea. last year was a nightmare in front of the castle on Halloween. this year i will have to find a better place to watch Hallowishes (which is my favorite!)

I am not chancing Halloween selling out snce it's the entire reason we are going in the fall! I usually get up around 7 anyway not a big deal.

FP+ and DAS are honored prior to 7pm. After 7pm neither are honored as only standby lines are utilized for attractions.

This is our first party and I can't wait! I had a few questions:

1. I know we can get in at 4, but what's the best time to get there? I'm not pressed about getting there right at 4.
2. Where do they have the party specific merch? When's a good time to buy it?
3. What's a good plan of attack for the parade, fireworks, and villains castle show?
4. I was thinking we'll leave after all of that but before the 2nd parade, is that a good plan? We're staying at POR, so will be catching the bus.

Thanks for all your help!!!:worship:

I always aim for 4 and do my dinner then, it really depends on if you want to spend the entire time your allotted before the party itself fully starts, you can make FP between 4 and 7 as well that day.

They put it out in certain shops that will be on your map, when i went last year 10/31 it was mostly sold out.

I have not attempted the castle show, but I was able to see the fireworks from Casey's ice cream place when i went.

The buses will run late enough to get you out whenever you please if you wanted to stay entire time, I've never gone to a party and not been there from 4 to end so I cannot really speak to if its good to leave/arrive early/late.

Just wanted to comment on this one. If you can, wait for the 2nd parade. It will be less crowded (usually). Also, be sure to just take a good walk through the park. There are dance parties with characters that are so much fun, and I've ran into characters I wasn't expecting to see out by just walking around. Oh, and neat photopass opportunities too (hitchhiking ghosts may appear in your pictures).

Does anyone know if the AP discount on MNSSHP tix will be available on the day they go on sale? I'm also a DVC member...any MNSSHP DVC discounts?
