Last minute days - no LL

We are coming to Orlando late April for a tournament, which means we won't know exactly when we will go to the parks. Not even exactly which days. Any tips or strategies for this situation? Been to Disney lots of times, but always booked Lightning Lanes 7 days out. Won't be possible this time because we don't know what days or what times we play. Going to have to be a day off or maybe day b before decision. We are annual pass holders, staying off property this time because of the tournament. Thank you!

The best option would probably be to go into MDE once you know what your plans are each day and start the LLMP purchase. It will allow you to see what LLs and times are available. You will be able to decide on the spot if it's worth it to you to purchase LLMP for that day or best to wait in standby lines.

I suggest taking the opportunity to approach the parks differently then you usually do, especially since you have an AP and presumably go other times as well. Shake things up. Focus on non-LL attractions or shows. Make yourself do things you usually skip. When we don’t have LL, we prioritize peoplemover, carousel of progress, mickeys philharmagic, enchanted tiki room etc.
Approach the last minute circumstance as an opportunity, not a hindrance.

There are a lot of additional Lightning Lanes drops scheduled each day. With good timing, you can pick up several good ones on the day of your visit with many having a return window within 30-45 minutes of when they are obtained.

The Thrill Data website has an overwhelming amount of data on this topic. I was skeptical at first, but it works exactly as advertised. But you have to be quick, they do go fast.

The other thing to keep in mind is, this decision may be made for you if LL is already sold out for the park you visit. I was looking for some info yesterday and as of yesterday afternoon, today's LLMP for Epcot was already sold out. Early today MK also sold out so, depending on how much advance time you have to make your decision, it may already be made for you.

We've visited often without LL and love the freedom to do what we want without thinking about LL return windows.
