We are going to the party for the first time this fall.... Anyone gone on 11/1.? How are the clouds compared to Halloween day for the party.

That's a long day for a little one. Does he/she take naps and sleep well in public?

He does nap on the go a lot but disney will be a whole different arena. I have no idea how he'll do and what to expect.

I took my son when he was 13 months old. We went to Hollywood Studios that morning, stayed until maybe like 1pm, then went back to room for a long break including a good nap. We got to MK for the party around maybe 6:00ish. We lasted until about 11pm before calling it a night. He had fun! I just would be sure to take a good break on that day. Oh, and we went on our last day of the trip. But that wasn't really for any reason other than that's what I like to do....I like having the party to look forward to!

Any updates on the date tickets go on sale? I called a CM earlier and she didn't have any info. All she said was that it was April and they may or may not give advanced notice.

I am in the same boat. What time does your baby go to bed now? The only party we could go to would be 10/31 or 11/1. We arrive on 10/31 and being that it is Halloween, I would love to get her all dressed up for her 1st halloween and take her to the party. I think she'd get a kick out of the dance parties and parade. My daughter will have just turned 1 year and i have no clue how she would be at that time for a party. We plan to take an early 8am flight and then rest at the hotel (VGF) the remainder of the day and we could go to the party around 5-6 after a nice long nap. Since halloween sells out, i know i'd have to buy tickets ASAP. Right now, she is only 5 1/2 months old but is DONE after 630p and conked out for 12 hours. I can't imagine that she would be any different in 6 months.... what are your thoughts? Buy tickets and hope for the best or do u think it would be a big mistake....

I honestly don't know! They take months to sell out, so I would do it whenever you have time. There is no need to rush.

Any ideas as to when the soiree will be able to be booked assuming they do it again? We're leaning towards halloween but could also do the party on the 29th or the 1st. I don't want to lock myself in and then not be able to get the soiree for halloween. But, if its like last year I may have no choice since halloween sold out in august.

What phone number can I call if I want to get hard tickets with a DVC discount? Or what is the best way to purchase them as we don't want to use up our park hopper that day (will just arrive after 4pm). I read somewhere that getting hard tickets is the only way to get 3 FP+ in advance with these tickets which is why I am asking.
