I did it last year and loved it! Will be doing this one again in 2011~!!
I am DVC so I will be that AKV, flying down on Sat am first flight at 6am and land in Disney by 8 ---- off to the expo then dinner and the half the next morning and fly out on Sunday night.
It is an in and out half for me, but there is never a dull moment!!

) about working up to running and a lot of articles say that if you have more than 50lbs to lose (like myself) then you should work your way up to running while losing weight along the way to avoid unnecessary stress to your joints/bones. I have been having a hard time with running on account of my shins getting really sore but I have plenty of time to ease into a running routine. I figure once I have lost about 15lbs I will start trying to run a bit more but for now I am walking and crosstraining on the elliptical.

So, that was wasted park admission. Granted, next time I will take an ice bath afterwards - I just took a cool shower and I think I really should have taken a bit easier. But, that was also my first race and I haven't been nearly as sore since. So, maybe that was the exception rather than the rule. I guess I will find out at
