i get so excited to see an update here thinking it's news - kind of like pavlov's dog - see an update in the free dining thread and i start salivating for free food !

Does anyone know if they are still offering bounce back for September?

I believe and I could be wrong but the bounceback offers were offered to the guests of certain resorts during Sept to come back again this year. So no the bounceback is no longer offered.

We are waiting on the promotion that has been offered the last several years. It has traditionally been released during April.

Ok thanks! We are hoping to go down in Sept. for our 10th anniversary just looking for some kind of discount! Here's hoping for free dinning!

Do they normally extend free dining for those staying at Shades of Green? My Dad is retired Military and I'm trying to talk my parents into going to Disney in September. If Free Dining is not offerred to SOG then we will be staying at POR.

Shades of Green is not disney. It will not be offered to those staying at the resort.

Called to ask why we were not offered the bounceback and I was offered a room package discount for my inconvenience. It is not as nice a discount as the free dining when we added dining but I booked it. I am now waiting for the free dining announcement. After crunching the numbers, it is worth switching to free dining. The difference in price if the switch my discounts is about $200 between the code and the free dining.

Sorry no Disney dining at Shades of Green not a Disney owned. So I guess you will be staying at POR if they offer it again.

Our family went to Disney world in August 2006 and August 2007 with free dining. We stayed at ASM and All Star Sports but hoped to stay at Pop Century this August. How did you find out about bounce back program? A travel agent booked our trip in 2007 but never mentioned the bounce back program.

We were given a flyer by the front desk at Pop with the bounceback promotion but we had to ask for it they didn't just give it to us like they were supposed to.

We also were at WDW when the bounceback was offered and we missed it. I only learned of the promotiononce we came home and read it here on the DIS boards. I checked the dates of the thread and chatter about the offer did start after we left (could not believe I missed it if it was on here).

We considered calling to see if we could get the offer anyway after the fact, but we then decided we would probably travel the last week of August and do a cruise that first week in September, so the bounceback did not work for us. I am still hoping they offer free dining that last week in August, but currently we are booked with a AAA discount so at the very least we do not pay rack rates - the horror

ShhhQ, I remember we went during the same time last year. You were a part of the "Meet". I didn't get the bounceback offer at the wilderness Lodge either.

We just returned home last night. We had a wonderful magical trip!!! I am thinking of taking my daughter on a Mommy and Me trip in September. If I book my package now can I switch it to free dining? Also, should I book through Disney or AAA? If I book just my room can I later change it to a package and add park tickets and dining?
