Offical free dining watch 2008

If i book my stay on Disneyworld.com over the nest week and then if free dining becomes available can I add it on to my booking? Could I do this online or would it have to be over the phone? Also would I be able to add on the tickets as I think you must also purchase park tickets to avail of Free Dining is this right? Thanks :-)
You will have to call and have the FD code added to your reservation, it will not be done automatically. There is no guarantee that you will or won't have to rebook. POP and ASMo will sell out first. You can not add the code over the internet or website, you have to call. And yes, you will have to add tickets and make your reservation a 3 night package to qualify for the Free Dining.

Sorry if this is a silly question what is a 3 night package if I will be booking pop for 2 weeks and akl for 1 week I know these will have to be 2 seperate bookings. Do you mean I will have to also purchhase a three day park ticket for each booking to qualify or could I just book a one day ticket to qualify as I can get the 21 day disney park ticket for quite cheap which is what ill do if iu can just buy a 1 day ticket for each stay. sorry if this sounds confusing :-s Thanks

We had decided not to go this year, we have been the last three years, but I have convinced my husband otherwise, but only if free dinning is offered! So bring it on!:cool1:

Just curious, last year when did Free Dining start in August? And also when did it become available for booking. We will be traveling in late August and I am just wondering if there is a chance this promotion will be running while we are there.

Hi! :goodvibes Free dining started 8/26/07.

Free dining was announced in the Spring (and it is done that way every year). It is offered to Disney Visa holders first, and then within days it is offered to all.

I would watch the Disboards as spring approaches, everyone will be sure and post!

For those of us that were there Aug/Sept 2007 and "bouncedback" for 2008, our free dining dates to choose from were 8/30/08 - 9/27/08.

Have a wonderful trip, I hope free dining is offered and that you can take advantage of it! :)

It was offered around April 12th for the general public

we have never used DDP before bc we are FL residents but we are moving out of state and this could come in handy

Well fellow Dissers only about 1 month left until we hear the word or not. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed and have said a prayer or two.:goodvibes

now that they have the different levels of DDP if they offer the basic free do you think they will offer the others at a steep discount? The Deluxe plan seemed a better fit for us but free is also good ;)

When we were there in Sept for the bounce back offer they offereed the DDP at around a 50% discount. Hope this helps
