Off site and out of the loop customer service, how irked do you get scale of 1-10

Years ago when the Covid shots first came out I had booked an appointment for my DM online with CVS. She showed up and there was no a record of her. Apparently the system cancelled her no clue why but they refused to give it to her even though it was there told her just to make another appointment. She asked for a phone number of someone to call and was told it is all done by their system there is no one to call no person does anything. I found an 800 number for her for CVS and she was transferred a bunch of times and was told the same thing. She went through another company instead.

I know what you all mean I do medical billing and I have a lot of issues calling insurance companies. I am sorry to say I can’t stand the offshore people. They don’t resolve issues and are rude. Trying to ask them to send things back or look into something they don’t want to do what they are supposed to sometimes won’t even get me to a supervisor and I have to be firm and they do not like it so I have been called rude, unprofessional, etc. The few things I have to call for personal such as our local paper my issues never get resolved.

That is odd for CVS. At least here, they took appointments and walk ups and gave no priority to those who made appointments. No appointment, no problem, here's your shot.

After toiling to even figure out how to get a human on the phone or on chat, good luck finding someone who knows anything more about your problem than you do. Or, worse, finding someone who won't transfer you to another department, who will then, after asking you the same 300 questions, transfer you back to the original department . . . with your question still unanswered.
 
I agree about ANY software related company. Personally, I think they should just tell everyone they don't have a customer service group and stop pretending they actually have real people answering phones who know anything about what you are asking and/or care to help. That was my comment earlier where I never call for those types of products and look around online or on youtube for how to resolve whatever issue I have. If it is a legit software issue, chances are you aren't the only one having that problem.

On a prior cell phone I owned, it would randomly indicate the number I am trying to text was invalid even when I had just recently texted that person and their number was in my directory. I found online this is a common problem and there was never a 'fix' released to deal with this which seems like some sort of software glitch. The only way to resolve the issue was to delete that person's number from your directory, reboot the phone and then re-add them to your directory. Calling the cell phone provider would be a waste of time and you still wouldn't know how to fix that issue.
 

We recently cancelled our lifelock account due to one of accounts saying it had to be reconnected but I couldn’t get the reconnect button to work. No one could tell me why it get disconnected in the first place. But then trying to get the account cancelled and a refund for the month they just took out
Everyone I talked to all they wanted to do was escalate and give me a case number I had a whole of case #s and nothing was getting done.
The last time I talked to an actual human I told her straight out I didn’t want to hear escalate or case number. So after a long silence I asked if she was still there. She said she was but I told her I didn’t want to hear those words LOL
I told her I was going to dispute it with the bank and called right after funny how fast things moved once the bank got involved
I got a call the next day from The escalation dept saying she found everything I was trying to get across that no one else could find
And yes I had to verify and repeat the whole mess even though I had case numbers
So glad to be done with them
