DD13 and I will be going to US/IOA 10/1-10/4, and added on HHN! We love zombies and gore :flower3:

I've never been to HHN and haven't been to US/IOA in years! I've got a few questions...

  • I went with Coco Key (partner hotel) and get early entry. Is EE at both parks, or assigned to a specific park each day? How much earlier?
  • Checking in late at night on 10/1 so we won't be able to hit the parks that night. I bought 2 day park to park tickets with HHN, and the date assigned was 10/3. This meant our HHN date is 10/3, right? But we can start using the 2 day tickets on 10/2?
  • What is the Rush of Fear ticket?
  • What are the hours for HHN, and which park is it at? I'm guessing US since it closes at 5:00pm. What is the deal with the waiting area if you're already in the park?
  • How will the crowds be the first weekend of October? Friday/Saturday is when we'll be at the parks.
:thanks:

yes, you can use the park ticket for the 2nd and same with the 3rd.

if you are in the park saturday, don't leave when it closes but go to one of the stay and scream holding areas.
you should be able to get a head start on houses earlier than the crowd waiting to come inside the park when it opens officially.

ROF is a mupiltal day hhn ticket pass.
check the hhn website for the dates it is valid for.

saturday will have crowds.
many come in the afternoon to hit the rides before the park closes at 5 at the studios.

Can I hitch onto your post? I will be going to HHN for the first time also on the opening weekend Sept 18-19. We didn't buy the express pass for HHN. Does anyone think it will be needed if we are going on a "slow" night?

i have done opening weekend only about 4 times.
for the ones i went to, once the media leaves the park that friday night, it's not crowded then for hhn......

opening weekend has the friday in the middle bracket for ticket prices and saturday for the highest price cost of hhn tix.
but, saturdays always are more than any other night of the week for hhn.

you should be fine.
saturday you could get some build up of crowds in the late afternoon as many hit the parks for rides before it closes down for hhn.
do stay in the holding section and be able to start on the houses and fun before the crowds are let in.
