what is this tomfoolery? self serve dole whips??? how come i have never heard of this before.

I heart tomfoolery.

Is this a benefit only for those staying at the Poly, or just a little known secret? I've never had a Dole Whip, and don't really wanna pay park prices to find out I might not like them.

It is not exclusively for Poly guests. You can enjoy self serve Dole Whips in the CS eatery on the bottom floor of the Great Ceremonial House, Captain Cooks.

If you like soft serve treats, and aren't offended by the flavor of pineapple, you will like them. Or love them, in the case of most of the civilized world! lol

Schweet! I'll definitely look for it when I'm there next! I plan on doing a lot of resort hopping to see the holiday decorations in December. I've only visited a few of the resorts and only passed through the Poly when I was there in April.

Yep, still going down for the W&D Half. As are several others here as well, it seems. I am also going down in January for the Marathon weekend. Hope it will be a bit warmer than last year!

So I wake up this morning and head home from the station. As I turn the key to unlock my door and walk inside my house I get a call from my mom. She says hey and then asks if I know where she is. I told her I didn't, and to be honest I really didn't care I had just gotten off a 24hrs shift at the firehouse and wanted to hop in bed. She replied, "Magic Kingdom!" I told her, "no you're not..." she said yes she was and again I replied with no you're not. Until then I heard kids laughing and screaming in the background! Apparently her and her boyfriend took off and drove from Louisiana to WDW the night before! All of a sudden I was wide awake and excited for her and then I remembered...only 50 more days and I'll be there too!!

I like my vacations long! I actually start my vacation on the 23rd visiting friends in TN and I buffered in a few days after the 8th to recover from the food and wine !
