The navigator from our January cruise has two meeting times: 8:15 and 10:30. I think it is a 2 1/2 hour tour (hopefully not a 3 hour tour on the SS Minnow)

I love Gilligans references but I am not allowed at home to do any references to boats going crazy - my better-half still thinks this "little boat trip" is dangerous.

Ooohhh....this could be a good question for the board.

Fill in KKers for the Giligan's Island Characters:

Skipper: Cinnamike....Looks like he can be trusted:confused3
Gilligan:
Professor: Beefcake. We are always getting a math lesson.
Thurston: AFEG.....Mr Concierge
Lovey:
Ginger:
Maryann:
I have to give it more thought for the rest.

This one is cracking me up for some reason:

It does two things so watch it.

I think they've added new ones. Either that, or I just don't remember them.

I downloaded those smilies but can't seem to use them.......:confused3

OK, I just checked, and the Pirate Encounter is at 815, and 1015.

Good for you Cass - I'll keep my fingers, toes, and whatever else I can get crossed for you!

are they both still available???

Do I have this right - we would meet at 815 on the Magic, they would take us out to the Pirate Ship. Does the 2.5 hours start from 815 or when we are all finally on the pirate ship? meaning would we be doen around 1045 or closer to 1130??

either way we should have time still to go to one of the beaches for the afternoon - is that right?

Congrats!!!! Post pics soon. I know what you mean about finding things. I don't have my house packed and I will have to hunt for my things.:rotfl:

Yes, hopefully I can get some pics posted after we settle in ::yes::

Thanks Tina!!

Here's one for you Cass for tonight:

Here's a better one for you Cass:

Yeah, I like that second one :thumbsup2 That's how I feel right now! :sad1:

Ok, I am off to watch Big Brother :woohoo: Have a great night guys!!

Jeff - I sort of see you as the Professor, as you're always tinkering with numbers! :teacher:

Yeah, but at least I could figure out how to build a boat. :rotfl2:

I'm think Chris as Thurston. Although he may make a good Maryann. :lmao:

Nancy's gotta be Lovey.

Who would be Skipper? Guess we should give that to Steve since he started this thread.

Who would be Gilligan? I say Mike. He'll get himself in trouble somehow with Robin.

I'd have to say Robin would be Maryann. Down to earth and good hearted.

That leaves Ginger. I don't want to touch that one.

I think you should go out and get the kids all gilligan hats for the trip. Let them model them around. hahahaha

They were both still available, though I as getting that time conflict message, as I already have something else booked at that time.

I would say the 2.5 hours is from the time you depart the meeting spot. I've been on excursions where we'd meet at say 8, but didn't leave the meeting spot until 8:15 or 8:20. UGH!

And I'd say you should have time to get to a beach. The last tender to the ship is 4:30 I believe (they'll have it posted that day.) So, just make sure to be back at the tender pickup point by 4.

Tina

I was just trying to post a goodnight smiley and it is just a bunch of jibberish. Any hints?

Here's one for your better half:

thats GREAT. About 3 weeks ago on a Friday night we were looking at the shelves to pick a movie to watch and without thinking I suggested Titanic. I turned around and saw a very shocked face staring at me - not until November I guess

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

We plan on booking the 8:15 and then hopefully getting the 11:30 Island Tour. But now it sounds like we won't be able to due to timing.

Our plan is to then go to "Public Beach" on Seven Mile Beach (I posted a while back that this is where you want to go on SMB - at least what I've read online). We think we'd have about 1-2 hours there after the island tour.

If we don't get the island tour, we may take a cab up to Hell and then the Turtle Farm (if DS wants to go there) and then to the beach. I think this would be the better way to do it anyways, but Suz thinks differently. The island tour doesn't do much more than that. If you get a good cabbie, they will tell you all about the island anyways.
