Elouise went and had 2 half days in her new school this week. She seemed to settle in really quickly, thanks goodness! I think I was much more nervous than her !

She is an "owl" and wil be this for the next 2 years ( all through infants school ) The school is smaller and kind of more friendly. I think this is a good thing, but kind of everyone knows everyone else, which is nice in some ways, but in others ????

Her teacher says she is above average in maths and English, so she will work in yr 2 for topics, which is a year ahead of her age. We are pleased with this, but we dont mind were she works as long as she is happy.

She only has 8 more days at her old school, then holidays then starts new school on 4th Sep.

At school to rasie funds, the kids draw a small pic of themselves and its printed as a school picture on a Tea towel. i will try and take a picture of her drawing..... scarely........... out of 100 odd kids the only child who has drawn a sad angry face of themself, is the boy who is bullying all her class. Wonder what a phygologist ( sp ? ) would make of all the self portraits!

My mum and dad brought her a great little snorkel set, all ready for castaway cay !!!
We have been practising in the swimming pool, so hopefully by the time we actually get in the sea, she wont swallow too much salty water !

Here are the kids in the limo, they had a ride around town for 20 minutes while me and my friends drank champers in my lounge! The driver even put popcorn and coke in the back for them !
