Did anyone else receive their "cruise travel kit" today????? I did and I am SO EXCITED!!!!  The kit brings to light the fact that we are getting closer and closer to sail time!!!:cool1: :cool1:

I'm paid off too and didn't get one. Missy, please describe.

Nancy - Thanks for answering my questions. I guess I may have to recruit some help for my door signs as well!!! I'll keep giving it the good ole Konked Kruiser try!!! (Maybe it would be a bit easier after a wine tasting rehearsal...........:upsidedow

Missy here is the picture of my "Fish Extender". I plan on using this because I will be keeping extra DIStag magnets in it for the taggers who lost theirs somehow. And, of course, for all the goodies being delivered my way. ;)

I have a couple of questions about drinks on board the ship:

1. can kids get free drinks in the Lab or other places when they are on organized activities?
2. What about The Stack where the teenagers hang out?
3. are all non-alcoholoc drinks free with meals?

ALso - does anyone know what it costs to have a pop when you do have to pay for it?

Thanks

I'm not sure about in the labs. I will ask alex when she gets up. Not sure about the stack either. I do know that they have pop in beside the mickey pool for free. At dinner pop is also free.

Attention all kids that have been on DIsney Cruises before........we are AverysMommy's kids - and we want to know what the best activities are on the cruise ship?

We have been reading on the Navigator about baking with Toll House Cookies, making Flubber, sports deck nights, etc. We are starting to realize that we cant do everything - what are the NOT TO BE MISSED activities?

Thanks from
Avery (5) and Spencer (8)

Alex would definitely tell them not to miss the glow party on the top deck at night!!!! She loved that.

Robin here,

I'll explain what it is and what it looks like.

A booklet that has 6 sections to it

1. shore excrusions/western caribbean
2. quick tips for smooth sailing
3. gifts
4. setting sail-Disney Magic (explains getting there, dining, entertainment, what to take, spa. etc.
5. vacation protection plan
6. forma wear (tuxedos to rent)

When you get it... you'll be so excited. :woohoo:

Any thoughts on what time we'd need to leave WDW if that rocket thing was to happen on the 20th...:rolleyes1

ps...I didn't wish to use the "L" word because i have the same luck as a pot-less leaprecon married to a 35 stone Sofa smasher with a sex addiction....Please nobody mention the "L" and it may just happen for us on the 20th......:rolleyes1

WOW thats a big turn around from are last DCL back in 04 were i guess 75% were in a tux...Hmmm am getting grief from the powers that be to "make an effort just once dad".... Thanks for that Robin...:)

Ive asked the same question on my other cruise BB and I'll wait and see the results before decided which week if at all:rolleyes1 I'll go the whole hog and wear a Tux....

PS...Am to fashion what the bush family is to world peace...:rolleyes1

Hey everyone - not too far off in the distance we will be cruising. Anyone on this one also doing Mexico? We will be doing Aug 3 Mexico.

since we're not cruising I guess my response doesn't matter much, but I'll chime in anyway...

Jay wore a tux on both of our previous Disney cruises and if we were taking this cruise he'd wear one again. We have fun dressing up for dinner and getting pictures taken. You might not believe this but the dress code for dinner at our house is terrible...shorts, t-shirts, sweatpants, bare feet... it's truly shocking! ;)

I'm off in search of some coffee...we bought some more Kona beans from the Polynesian last week and that seems like a good way to start our last day of freedom before returning to the grind tomorrow morning. I'm assuming we didn't win the Powerball drawing last night...

Neil is wearing shirt and tie and suit trousers. No jacket - no room left in cases once all my shoes are in:rotfl:

Just been on a bike ride with Neil and Ellis - phew! - its a hot day today.

Good afternoon Robin, about formal night is ANYONE ON HERE wearing formal?....:confused3

Do you even have to ask:rotfl: In Arizona we don't get very many chances to dress up. I wish I could get the guys in Tuxes, but that will not happen. For formal night Scott and Kyle will be wearing Sport coat with matching pants, a button down shirt and tie. On Semi Formal they will be wearing Sport coat with button down shirt and slacks, most likely matching the sport coat. Now the girls on the other hand. We are dressing up every night. We all have from the very fancy dress for formal all the way down to casual dresses. Can now wait to dress up. Just with 3 girls I don't think the guys stand a chance in our bathrooms while we are getting ready, you know all the hair and makeup. We might have to find the public restrooms for the guys to get ready in. :lmao:

BUMP!:scared1:

Where is everyone?

We just came back from a late morning walk...after seeing the way I looked in most of our pictures from last week I now have added incentive to get in better shape and lose some weight. Yeccchhhh...the flab...:scared1:

And now I'm finishing the laundry and cleaning bathrooms and getting ready to wash the dishes and all the other junk that blissfully gets left behind for a week.

Poor Plankton...they wouldn't let him into V&A because he didn't have the appropriate attire. He was on his good behaviour until that happened...now he's just one angry vacation mascot. ;)

Have a good day! :goodvibes

Good afternoon Robin, about formal night is ANYONE ON HERE wearing formal?....:confused3

No tux for Chuck either, unless you consider clean sweatpants, a beater, and clean flip flops with black socks formal wear.:rotfl: (Yes, the socks would be stuffed betwix the the toe part). :rotfl2:

Seriously, Chuck will have two dress shirts, two ties, and two nice trousers for semi and formal night (and white tube socks with black high top shoes with the laces untied). :lmao: (Sorry, I couldn't resist).
