This morning Mac and I are off to Care Day for a church, it is where we help people in the community that need, yard work, painting, light clean up, that sort of thing, then we get the older kids at 1 and it is off to clean grandmas house and swim.

Wow what a lovely thing to do for someone else...

You posted a picture of yourself on the Yahoo site...and I just now got to see it after everyone else. I wanted to be the first to admire your English good looks and instead I'm bringing up the rear with the compliment caboose.

Anyhoo...you're even more handsome than I expected and you seem to be missing the "Fat" portion of your user ID. I think you were trying to throw us all off the track so that we wouldn't recognize you come October.

By the way, you have beautiful children.

Just an update on Mike.

He was released from ICU today. He was moved into his own room. YIPPY He is now in stable condition. He still has not spoken. He moans but that is it, he has not written either. They do believe that he might have had a stroke while in ICU because his whole left side is extremly weak. They said he will have to undergo extensive rehabe and it can be 6 months to a year before they see how much of the "old Mike" they get back.

Thank you for your prayers and please keep praying for a easy recovery for him. The prayers are what have made him get this far.

Carrie - thats great news!! And definitely a step in the right direction!! The whole family will continue to be in our prayers.....

Just wanted to quickly jump on and say Hi to all! It's been a typical Saturday around here, what with errands, baseball games, etc....
And it's a little more difficult today with hubby still recuperating!!!
Slowly I am sure things will return to normal!!

I actually have a few quiet moments to myself.....boys are at neighbors house and hubby is napping........

I was making up a to-do list for the cruise and realized I still have quite a few things to do!!!

Can someone please redirect me to the post regarding "fish mail holders"? I think I remember this as having something to do with DIStag??? Do I need to make something???? Are there any pictures of samples anywhere???

Also, because I am not so computer literate, I am having a hard time designing door signs......I am trying to do something as simple as type text over top of a picture and can't figure out how to do it!! Can some of you computer savvy folks maybe at least guide me with that small aspect of the project.......I'm sorry I'm such a computer dummy!!!

We try. I am trying to teach Mackenzie that it is a good thing to do for others. Who knows when you would need someone to help you. For being a 4 year old she is great. Scott can only join us sometimes and when he does he got about 32 hours of no sleep. Today was a day that he joined. Todays projects were fun. Our group broke into 2 groups. One group went to paint someones trailer (mobil home) while our group went to do yard work for two different people. Mackenzie helped pull weeds, digged out 2 bushes and then we joined the other group and helped paint. She is the only child that goes so I am glad she does so well.

Linda, thanks for thinking about me. I got the "all clear" from the good Dr. Notice I only call her the "Good Dr." when results are favorable? No more check ups for a year now.

Missy, you really don't NEED a fish mail extender. Just make sure your DIStag gifts can either be put in a little bag that can hang from the fish holder or that you can put your gift behind it. You can also ask the stateroom host/ess to take your gift inside the stateroom for you. They are usually around in the hallways anyway. Just tag the door with your magnet and let them take the gift inside.

Sorry, can't really help out much there. I've either begged for the help of some other DISers or made a few with my Disney's Magic Artist Studio which I think is a piece of cr@p software program. (Bitter?? Table for one??)
