Thanks for posting. I have class tonight and popped home quickly but it is just the talking hands blathering as usual.

The polling place across the street in packed!!!

They seem to be all college kids.:woohoo:

The flyer looks great PR. My verbal spanish skills (or spanglish) is much, much better than my written though. :upsidedow

I have my Obama St Patty's day shirt on and I'm going to the supermarket to get something to cook for dinner. Sending some prayers to our guy! :thumbsup2

Great to hear about the polling place across the street from you, aplejax!

I HOPE that shirt has a 4 leaf clover on it...Oh and Lucky Charms would make a great dinner tonight!! I HOPE he pulls an upset...that would be so awesome!!! Let's go Obama!!!!!:woohoo: :shamrock:
Yes he does seem different. I have caught that also. Not sure if it is him or that he does not know which way to go in his situation of once being President and the high honcho to possibly first man:confused3

Either way he is different. But many that have heard him speak have said he was great. I did not hear him. Maybe since we are hearing about his inserting foot in mouth that we are seeing it worse than it is....who knows :confused3

I myself in the beginning was questioning if he really wanted Hillary to run for POTUS.
I am so disappointed in Hil and Bill. Honestly, I was a huge supporter of both of them for years and years, even during his "trouble.' I was initially glad to see her enter the contest as president. That was then, this is now. It seems like every bad thing people have said about them over the last 15 years is coming true. I got a cold call from the Obama campaign today looking for donations. Very gladly gave them one.

Yup, it has the shamrock on it! :)

2 minutes until polls close. I'm so nervous.

Well, it's too close to call.... so, since they have 6 hours of programming, I figure we should know the margin by midnight ;)

I have read that Operation Chaos was still going on in the State today :rolleyes1

I expected an all out loss around 7 points, which I thought was really very good considering he was down 26 points, maybe I'll be more pleased than I thought? Or, maybe not, I make no public projections!

I'm guessing Clinton wins by 9 and this goes on until IN/NC at least. I tend to be pessimistic when it comes to politics, so I hope I'm wrong. :)

I love that the crowd in IN was just cheering and chanting Obama when MSNBC went live to the rally.

Who is everyone watching? I have KO on. :thumbsup2

So Clinton carried the white voters but we are getting 69% of Philly and 62% of the Philly suburbs. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Just got in and have the television on MSNBC. I don't think I'm going to make it until midnight and will have to catch the final results in the morning! And let's not forget, the Idolettes are singing Andrew Lloyd Weber on AI tonight, and, of course, that is a burning issue facing America today.;) :teeth:

Forgot to add: for the pundits jabbering on and on about the amount of money Obama has spent on television ads in PA, I'm glad to see it appears to have had an effect.

I'm watching KO as well... Carrying Philly and the Suburbs like that will net many delegates...

I agree with that, that money paid in dividends. When Obama was down as much as 26-33%, and now it's too close to call.... In a place where she spent her summer's in a place where she was expected to win by double digits due to the affinity for the Clintons, she's had a 20 year lead.... Give me a break when trying to make that argument that he spent so much and why couldn't he win, KWIM? Drives me a little batty that some people are so short sighted.

Oh Hillary has won by the way, don't have the margin... No staying up until midnight.

Agreed that she will win the PA primary. I'm interested in the number of delegates Obama collects.

It will be significant if indeed he did win those numbers in Philly & the Burbs as was indicated... that's what will be very interesting.....

I'm providing a link below to Dana Milbank's article in today's Washington Post. I think this excerpt is line with what you posted and puts these 'why can't he close the deal questions' into a specific light.

The Monongahela River Valley lost its steel mills in the '80s and, a quarter-century later, this sad town in the heart of the Mon Valley still hasn't recovered. Its downtown is a collage of crumbling buildings, and its once-proud landmark, the 102-year-old People's Union Bank Building, has signs in the window:

"Bank Repo Sale.

Excellent Deal.

Eight stories.

Priced to sell!"

It is, in short, just the sort of place Barack Obama was talking about when he said he wasn't getting the support of blue-collar workers of the industrial heartland because they "cling" to guns and religion out of economic bitterness. It is also the place Obama chose to visit on Monday night, on the eve of Tuesday's primary -- and the reception here explains why Obama, the national front-runner, is expected to lose Pennsylvania.
