Now, now. Have a nice cool glass of Kool-aid and you'll feel better.![]()
I was just wondering something. What flavor of Kool Aid are we all drinking? We have to make sure we stick together, you know.
I'm a grape fan myself....

Goes with Obama's Hawaiian birthplace, no?
From the Daily Show last night:

"At 11 am on Tuesday Barack Obama spoke to Americans about race as though they were adults."
I am feeling lucky that I keep my political and religious beliefs to myself, for the most part. It is nasty on the other threads and I just can't understand why.
I guess no one, except supporters of Senator Obama, knows a racist that they love despite them being racist. My own mother has said some pretty hateful and insensitive comments, but I still love her. I still go to her for advice and I still think she is a wonderful person. She starts chemo today, and I sit here wondering how she will do, and what I can do for her later to help make her feel better. But, when she gets into one of her rants, I just roll my eyes at her and shake my head. My sisters and I have told her to shut-up if our kids are around when she talks like that, but we still love her. I guess what I am trying to say, is according to a lot of folks out there, I am a bad person because i still love my mother, despite her racist views.
DH and I actually watched Nightline last night, that does not happen too often. We both feel like a lot of others here do, that this man and his views are so needed for this nation.
