Hi All,

We are booked for the Pirate Sail. We are all looking forward to it. Welcome Jennifer and family! You asked what we are planning on bringing as a thank for the kids clubs. I read that they like chocolate (really..who doesn't) so I bought two big boxes for the girls to give to their respective groups. I am also going to be shopping soon for special chocolate to share with our group. Wine from MN is nothing to brag about. I will bring some chocolate and pick up a bottle of wine when we get into Florida.

Just to keep things correct, there are 3 children in the Smola clan, but our plan was to bring one set of postcards for the three of them to share. (They won't need 3 sets) By the way our children are Jeffrey 8, Michael 9 and Anthony 14. They are all soooo excited. This is our 4th cruise and I think this is the most excited they have ever been.

I picked up a big bag of chocolates & put several into small ziplocks & added a label saying "Thank you! You made our vacation special" Then I signed the kids names. I have 10 of them for them to give to anyone they want.

yum, yum-all this chocolate talk! i will have to make a trip into the kitchen to dig into the milk chocolate i got at see's yesterday (had to kill sometime somewhere while ds and i waited for dh to come look at the sofa)

I think 30 postcards is still plenty enough because you will have parents like us who insist their children share!

I sat on the edge of the bed tonight with my 8 y.o. rationalizing (as she fell asleep) that the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando shouldn't be a topic "to dream about" before going to bed because if she had her way the "dream" would be the "Disney Cruise"....., as opposed to her 6 y.o. brother who obsesses about Sponge Bob! They routinely get in arguements about which would be the "ultimate" vacation!....little do they know they are about to receive both!

I am not kidding you......they are going to have little pediatric coronaries as this vacation unfolds!

Their dear mother is going to have a partial coronary as it unfolds if it's not caught on film or video.....still, today....as the kids were in school, there I was trying out the new digital camera and all its fanciness!

The subject matter on the front porch was only half way amussing (Halloween spiders and axe muderers) to take photos of......and our cat was asleep in the sunshine......so I still have some experimenting to do!

"i went on the disney cruise to-WATCH MOVIES"?. c'mon there is so much to do on board-do you realy want to sit in the theatre and watch movies (and if they are still following the practice they had a few years ago, the pg and r's are edited versions like they show on airplanes cuz they don't id folks when they come in the theatre).

so a question-what is shop girl? i keep thinking it is a remake of an old movie, but that story was very successfully redone with tom hanks and meg ryan as "you've got mail". is disney remaking a remake?

o.k.-i confess, we saw a movie once while on vacation (i don't count the times we have taken the kids while on vacation). we saw "nightmare before christmas" because it opened when we were in maui.

i hear we will be on the boat when the new harry potter opens-at least that will make for a valid excuse not to see it until the crowds thin down a bit

We did not see a movie on the 4 day - but we really wanted to because the theatre is so huge.....just another experience....

Panic - it is time to Panic - what happened to my organizational skills....we are now less than 30 days away - yippee - oh nooooooo --- to many things to do....and just discovered black shoes have holes...when did that happen...must now shop for shoes....still need another refresher dive, the 2nd was cancelled. FYI - no dive computers on Blue Island....they are in process of ordering new ones...so we get to use dive tables... But I spoke with a friend who lived there - she said we will have fun, dives are shallow enough nothing to worry about with two dives.

You kids were busy while I was gone. Got home late last night after a delayed flight with a sick child. Some nasty little stomach bug. So I am going to assume she has gotten the ickies out of her system so all will be well for the cruise. Now I will unpack the winter clothes we took to CT and repack with cruise stuff!

I have room 5137, which is a Cat 11 room, I booked Cat 12. Has anyone stayed in this room before? Is it a noisy room? As far as the ship map looks, it looks like it will be great.

I have room 5137, which is a Cat 11 room, I booked Cat 12. Has anyone stayed in this room before? Is it a noisy room? As far as the ship map looks, it looks like it will be great.

Mine came UPS and they left them on the porch - but I didn't get the rest of Ben's families tickets with them.
We are in Georgia and in category 6 - his family is in category 9. I'm not sure what the method to their madness is!
