Northern Florida/Southern GA Hotel Recomendations

Hello! We will be traveling down I-75 S for our trip to Disney in a month or so. Does anyone have hotel recommendations in northern Florida (maybe Lake City) or southern GA? Family of four looking for a clean hotel to get some rest in before the big WDW vacation!

Tifton ga has a few nice ones right off of 75. About 60 miles to the fl line.

Valdosta, GA (exit 18) St. Augustine Rd. I currently live nearby. It is next to their mall, restaurants, and there is a Target and a 24 hour Walmart on Norman Drive (just two traffic lights up from exit). Some cheaper hotels at exit 16 (still Valdosta), not a bad exit either, just not as close to the mall, but one light up from exit is Norman drive which connects to St. Augustine (you pass the Walmart) at the mall intersection.

It is a 3 hour drive from exit 16 to Disney taking I-75 to turnpike to Disney.

If you want a reference point to look around on google maps, use the high school address Lowndes High School, 1606 Norman Dr, Valdosta, GA 31601.

Exit 18 is St. Augustine and has a Starbucks right by the on-ramp to I-75. Exit 16 is W. Hill Ave.
