noise at POR

Hi - staying at POR for the first time and wondered how quiet the rooms are. We stayed at ASMo two years ago and we heard the turbo toilets, the tv in the next room, everytime a drawer was opened and the phone. The next year we stayed at AKL and didn't hear anything!! So - just wondering what to expect - I'm requesting a room in AB.

We've stayed at PO R three times, in both sections, and think it's very quiet. We like it enough that we're going back in December. However, we also stayed at All Star Music and didn't hear any "room-to-room" noise there, either, and are also staying there in December!

We stayed in POFQ back in 1997, and found it quiet. Yes, we heard the occasional toilet, or slamming door, but it was nothing like the All Stars, which we found relatively unbearable in terms of noise.

The biggest disturbance we had at POFQ was a guy dragging a Radio Flyer wagon along the cobblestones at about 6:00am on Sunday morning. The wheels going over the cobblestones made a noise that echoed all through the resort... Perhaps he didn't think about how loud it was and how far the sound carried, but regretfully I'm quitesure we weren't the only people he woke up.

But otherwise it was quiet and very enjoyable

Good news! I'm early to bed and early to rise at Disney so I'm glad to hear that it's (relatively) quiet.

My trips to POR have been quiet but I always ask for (and have received) top floor rooms.
