Finally! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!!

Hi guys! Time for my monthly update, haha! Remember the good old days when I used to update once or twice a week? Ahhh I miss that, when the DIS didn't make me want to cry every time I logged on haha!
(Don't mind me, just some serious Disney depression over here, that's all! I'll snap out of it soon!

Brandon and I just finished our amazing dinner at 'Ohana and were on our way to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I was SO excited, this is one of my most favorite things to do in Disney! I love the Halloween Party, but I'm a Christmas freak so this party is just awesome. Christmas and Disney, the 2 things in my life that make me happier than anything.
I wish I could remember how we got there, monorail or boat, but I have no idea! I'm going to guess monorail? No clue, but soon enough, we arrived at the Magic Kingdom about 30 minutes before the party officially started!
I was trying to get some nice pictures of the entrance, but someone would always step in front of me, no matter where I was standing, so I gave up and we went in! I love walking into MK the night of a party, Halloween or Christmas, it has such a different atmosphere! Just pure excitement, and the spirit of the holiday just envelopes you the minute you walk in. I don't know how they do it, but it's perfect!
The balloons are even Christmas themed! I always try to get cute balloon pictures, but they never work out! Here's my first attempt:

The second one at least isn't blurry, but I don't like it because I used the flash! Oh well, someday I'll have a real camera and I will be able to take all the balloon pictures that I want right?
Main Street looked absolutely beautiful! And the CASTLE WAS LIT UP!!!
Yes, I'm still that excited about the Castle lights. They will never get old, I will never get sick of seeing them, they are so beautiful and perfect!
Just walking down Main Street, looking at the decorations, feeling so happy that I might explode, you know, normal night at the Magic Kingdom!

Now, most people who go to the parties want to see the rare characters, like the Seven Dwarfs. (Dwarves? I don't know...) The line for them gets insane really early, so if you want to see them, you have to get in line asap. We saw them a couple of years ago, and while they are adorable and fun to meet and I LOVE the picture we got with them, I didn't want to meet them at this party, I had some other characters in mind, so we headed in a different direction...
Where are we? Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!
The 2 characters I wanted to meet more than anyone at this party were in Tomorrowland, so that's where we were going!
We found their meeting spot and got in line...it was strange, their spot wasn't even set up, so we got to watch the CM's put the lights up and everything before the characters came out. I'm sure other people would have complained that it was "unmagical" but I don't care, I love stuff like that! Seeing how efficiently Disney runs, it's pretty amazing when you think about it. How everything has to be planned so perfectly, down to stringing up Christmas lights for a character meet and greet! EMPLOY ME, DISNEY!!! My dream is to be a CM! I'll put up Christmas lights, I'll clean toilets, I don't care, just hire me and let me live out my dream!!!!
(I apologize for the mini rant about wanting to work for Disney, lol, I've been thinking about it for a while now, and I'm trying to find a way to move to Florida in the next year or two, but it just seems like such an impossible dream right now! AHHHH!!!)
Anyway, finally the characters came out and we were first in line! Who were we waiting for?
PHINEAS AND FERB!!!
I know, probably a huge disappointment for you guys right? At the time, I was obsessed with P+F so I HAD to meet them.
We went up and met them, and they were really cool, they joked around with us a little and then we took the picture, which actually would have been a great picture...
But for some reason, Brandon and Ferb's faces are blurry!! Ugh!!!!
And I didn't get the photopass CD for this trip either, so that's the only picture I have! Figures!
(And why do they not have Perry the Platypus with them??? I can understand not having him in DHS every day, but he should be at the parties at least!)
Once we met Phineas and Ferb, I wanted to go in one of the shops that had
MVMCP merchandise, I wanted to get something official from this party. Usually everything is sold out by the end of the night so I wanted to do it while I still had time! So we went over to one of the shops in Tomorrowland
and I considered getting a shirt, but then I wondered when I would ever wear it again. So I got an ornament instead. (I guess I didn't take a picture of it when I bought it, but I will put one up at the end of the TR if you guys are dying to see it!)
So there were 3 things that HAD to be done at this party. The first was meeting Phineas and Ferb, which we just did. The second was seeing New Fantasyland again. Keep in mind, New Fantasyland still wasn't officially open at this time (it seems so weird to think about that, doesn't it?) and even though we were lucky enough to see it totally by surprise on Tuesday, I wanted to see it again. So we left the world of Tomorrow and headed over to New Fantasyland! (I'll tell you the third when we get there!)

I'm feeling pretty good about the December trip today...but ask me tomorrow, and I'll probably be in tears, saying it won't happen lol! So I have no clue! 
I'm grateful for Starbucks now, as a major coffee drinker.
