Where at Magic Kingdom do I catch the bus to Wilderness for the Hoop De Doo - and how much time should I give myself to make the journey?

Thanks in advance!

HDDR is located at Fort Wilderness, not Wilderness Lodge. There is no bus to FW, so your only direct route is the FW/MK boat. All boat docks are clearly marked at the front of MK, recent posts indicate the FW dock has moved and is now the farthest to the right(facing the docks), just in front of the monorail. In any case Disney marks the transportation stops clearly, so just stop a moment and check the signs.
Once you arrive at FW, HDDR is just a short walk from the dock, you will see it to your right as you exit the marina.

The Hoop de doo is at Ft Wilderness. If you are at the MK it is better to take the boat over.
As you exit the MK just walk straight towards the water, there are signs for the different boats. Make sure you get the correct boat, go to Ft Wilderness not the Wilderness Lodge.
I generally give myself 45 minutes travel time from the MK, just in case I miss the first boat or it's full.
Once you get to Ft. Wilderness you just walk down the dock over to Ft Wilderness and the hall for the Hoop de doo is to your right

I would give yourself an hour and a half to get there from another resort-just to be safe. When they tell you that you have to check in at least 15-20 minutes early-they are not kidding. We arrived on time for the show (they were just starting to seat people) one year but we didn't check in early enough so they sold our seats. The ended up seating us for the next show (the latest one) but needless to say that we were not thrilled to have to wait.

Sounds perfect! Boat is OUTSIDE the MK (which I didn't realize!) and I'll give us an hour so we can smell the flowers on the way :thumbsup2

We're going to the late (9:30) show, but we will be running on 4-5 hours of sleep so we need meandering time :lmao:
