Newbie couple ADR questions - Need recommendations

Quick snapshot of us - I have 3 kids 15, 8, 6 - their first time to WDW. I am obsessively trying to arrange our meals on DDP.

1. Do you recommended Whispering Canyon? For breakfast or dinner?

2. Is Narcoossee's worth all of this grief I'm giving myself trying to get us in? I can't find ANYTHING before 9:30 PM.

3. Tony's Town Square? Or should I wait for something better?

4. Can I get from Fantasmic (reserved the package through Brown Derby) at 6:30 to Beaches & Cream at 9. And would you be satisfied with B&C for Christmas Eve? I don't want to go fancy. It will be late and I think the kids would get a kick out of kitchen sink for dessert on Christmas Eve.

No, not worth the grief. Try California Grill. Great food and views of MK, plus you can watch the fireworks from the Contemporary roof that night.

It's okay. I'd make the ADR and keep trying to get into BOG.

Take the boat from DHS to BC. You should have plenty of time. You can even walk (about 30 mins) if the boat line is backed up. BC sounds fun for Christmas Eve.

I've never been to any of the restaurants listed. We typically do character meals & a few others (TH, H&V, CRT, GG, Akershus, CM, T-Rex, RC, Boma, etc) so no help there. We are adding Corel Reef & Le Cellier this year.

However, we plan to go to B&C on Christmas Eve this year too. We think it will be fun for our DD6 on Christmas Eve, especially the Kitchen Sink.
