Kelly and Nan, OMG I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Kelly, as you see, a couple of us ladies have been through the same thing, and we so empathize with you. I was 11 weeks when my pregnancy was declared not viable, and I had the choice to wait until my body naturally ejected it, or to have a D&C right away. I had the D&C so to save me from the trauma of actually going through a miscarriage. Surround yourself with people who care and love you and understand what you're going through, and then build up your physical and emotional strength to try again for that baby you want so badly.

Kelly I hope you're not offended but I'm going to pray for you right now. Oh Jesus, we ask you for a special favor, to make your presence known to Kelly and Brian as they try to bring new life into the world. Jesus, we all ask you to help them conceive and have a wonderful pregnancy, and give birth to a perfect baby that will be the joy of it's parents lives. Jesus, we know you are the doctors of all doctors, and so we come to you again for you to lift up baby Sierra, make her well Lord, fill her with the healing power of your love, and fill Toni and Brian with your peace. Oh Mary mother of Jesus and our mother, you know what it's like to suffer for the sake of a child, as you suffered the death of your holy Son, and so we come to you as mothers to ask you to pray to God on behalf of Kelly and Brian, and on behalf of Toni, Brian, and Baby Sierra. We know all things are possible with God, and we pray that it is His will that these two families have the beautiful healthy babies they will cherish in your name. Amen.

Aisling:

Bless you my dear friend.

I so needed to hear your strong declarative words to God to ask for strenghta and healing.

You've touch me deeply. Thank you so much for your words of prayer.

Baby Sierra is "holding her own" for now. I spoke briefly with my cousin and they opted to move her for need of surgery. For what I don't even know yet. We will talk again tomorrow and Paul & I will go up to Davis (about 2 hours from us) to be with our family to offer what support we can with our strong hugs and basket of fruits.

Thank you to all of you offering kind words for Sierra. She truely has us sending prayers from around the world and I for one do wholey believe in the power of those prayers.

Kelly, again much love and support to you during the upcoming days. My the Lord bless you with quick recovery and soon thereafter a child to carry to be with all of us on our NYE celebration.

I'll check back as I can.

LYMI,

Nan

My cousin’s, Laura granddaughter is battling an infection and on Friday night and was airflighted from the NIUC at Redding to UC Davis NICU in Sacramento . They have opted to move her here in case they need to due surgery. UC Davis is better equipped to handle this type of care. Paul & I are going up to see Laura and Brian & Toni this afternoon and offer some family support.

I think most of you know the babies were born on my mom’s 80th bday 8/24 a couple of months early. They were just at 2 pounds each. Shayla the larger stronger twin passed away on 10/24 to infection.

Sierra the surviving twin is “holding her own” as I type, but nonetheless this is a very scary and sad time for my cousin and her son & wife.

Since we had not been able to get up to see them for the services last weekend and really felt like I needed to get there to give them hugs and prayers.

I expect that we will be driving home early Monday morning.

The kids are with Dan & Sandra tonight and with Meiko & Koji (Hein) tomorrow.

Thanks in advance for the prayers,

Nan

(p.s. Disers you know the routine….if you get a chance please post to let NYE and Repo threads know what’s up, thanks LYMI!)

As I've been stuck indoors looking after my sick Dal, I have been messing around on FaceBook - anyone else a member??? :surfweb:

Thanx Mom~

The show went well, I close it down tomorrow night. I will make my minimum for the month for sure, with having only had one show that's not bad~

I was nervous and am glad it was our friends for my first show, they made it alot easier for me to get thru it all...I have one booked for January and am getting one to do in december. Yes, I am doing this slow...I really don't want this to overwhelm my life and CMs makes it very easy to go slow or go balls out. The monetary return is good, the product is very easy to sell and Laurie was very happy with her freebies~

Karen, Brenda and me are on MySpace...I haven't tried Facebook yet. My kids are on it~

Kaz, Chad is 22 now!! He's on Facebook, too, as well as Myspace. Sorry about your sick doggie.

Tig, I'm so glad your show went well. And Jill, thanks for the pictures!

We're back...thanks for the prayers.:goodvibes

Upon arrival ~6pm we took Sierra's parents and my cousin out to dinner, I think a much needed change of scenery for them all, dropped them back at there "home away from home" and then loaded them up on groceries and headed home. We thought about an overnight, but I had a long work day today so we came back home last night, got home at midnight.

Sierra is now over 4 pounds. She has an infection and as a precaution they moved her to UC Davis Med. She seems to be showing improvement, says her mom.

Such a tough thing to deal with. Brave parents.

Thanks for the prayers keep 'em coming her way :goodvibes

Sounds more positive, Nan. Will keep the little girl in our prayers...

Slightly worried today as big shake-up happening at DH's company and outlook not good for 2008. :sad2: At the mo, just hoping NYE cruise isn't a casualty of harder times... Oh well, fingers crossed it all works out...
