yes, the May 10th one to CA.

We did the first one, but I was w/my DH and she was with her DH. Since my DH passed last March, we are rooming together and leaving her DH at home. I am glad I found someone to cruise with me and we get along so well together and are making some wonderful memories.

Looks like you've found *many* to cruise with :cloud9:

I wish you pixie dust laced with of lots of new memories~

Just popping in to say HI! I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season. :goodvibes

It's been a while since I've been on the DIS and I am trying to catch up. Life has been so busy lately and to top it off I have a very challenging bunch of students this year (I am a teacher for those of you who are curious) plus I am looking into schools for my Masters.

Tig- I recently bought a LaserJet color printer but it was not an all in one. Although at staples they did have a B&W LaserJet for about $280. It is definitely worth getting if you have the room for it.

We are almost at the 11 month mark  :cheer2:

I will be happy with my Associate's Degree...I put the education alongside my 20 years of business experience to consider myself a "master" ;)

Who makes the printer you chose? Have you done pictures on it????

I'm not narrowing my choices down any yet...today I saw a 3 in one: copy/scan/printer that has a dvd burner in it! I'd buy a seperate fax machine just to have that printer~ I'm almost in Nan and Paul's price range tho if I went that route. It's so cool, it can print pics up to 13 by 19 inches!

I checked out your video Kaz...very thorough and informational :thumbsup2

Kaz- that video was great! I can just imagine myself in the open air massage cabana...relaxing with my banana daiquiri. :cloud9: ahhh i can't wait.

11 months is too far away...I may follow some fellow cruisers and book a vacation this summer just to break up the long countdown until the cruise :woohoo:

I ended up buying the Samsung Laser printer. I haven't printed pictures on it because i bought a photo printer a while back but they say the picture quality on the Samsung is great.

I never heard of an all in one that has a DVD burner in it...thats crazy!

I'll do a picture test page on my new printer and let you know. :thumbsup2

hi lou!

Chad said they lost their first basketball game tonight, but that your bro John did great. Theres a viewing area so we can go watch next time. Maybe your mom will come, too.

I would so love to take a vacation this summer. Can we squeeze in an inexpensive WDW trip with Samantha and Julia? We can stay Value. Let's talk about it. But I think you'd rather spend the money to visit Chad in Rome. Let's work some numbers. Would Bobbi and John let us take the girls without them if they can;t go? Maybe your mom can go. It would be a dream for those little girls. Ideas?

I was shocked when I saw "intgrated dvd burner"

Cool huh?

I am also shopping for a laptop, I've seen burners in those so I guess it's not *really* necessary for me to get a burner in my all in one huh?

I'll do a picture test page on my new printer and let you know.

cool beans! thank you~

B2B's are fun. We have to disembark the ship now but only for a few minutes to go thru Customs so they can scan your passport and then back up teh elevator and back on the ship. No big deal.

But we are the last ones off and then the first ones on again with about 3 hours before the others board again. That is the fun part, we have the whole ship to ourselves.

I leave again on Wednesday for the Wonder for 3 days. Just going to rest and read some books. Nothing special planned.

11 months and just under 2 weeks to go!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I'm sooo looking forward to this cruise - we have such a great time as a family and I can't wait to get all my loved ones onboard... I've been looking at the stateroom decorations and I'm thinking of surprising the kids with a banner or two...

B2B sounds like a dream come true - one day, Kay, one day... :cloud9:

Hi everyone!!!

Greetings from a wet and wildly windy London! It's yuk out there today which is a bore as I've really gotta get out and buy myself an outfit for an evening reception DH and I are attending tomorrow. It's in the refurbished crypt of a central London church (see here) and should be pretty spectacular! But I need at the very least a new pair of smart black trousers...

Matty's still home - he had a very restless night and feels worse today! :sad2: If there's no improvement, I'll make him a Dr's appointment...

Sound v-e-r-y cool, Tigg! :thumbsup2 I too have never encountered an integrated DVD burner in a printer! :worship:

Thanx! Glad you enjoyed it - it was passed on by a lady on one of my other cruise threads and it made me feel all warm n fuzzy... :cloud9:

That just sounds fab - all that space to yourself!!! :cloud9:

Have a WONDERful rest... :goodvibes

I got the rough draft of the website finished. Take a gander and let me know if you see any updates/enhancements/or changes you wish to see. However, do me a favor and send me that information to my email of anjelshannon@prodigy.net. I can't always get to DISboards but due to my obligations, etc. I do check my email regularly.

Additionally, if new folks happen to join the board and I haven't been on for awhile please pass them the information about the website.

Thanks again everyone,
Anjelica

I'm soooo sorry - I think I meant to double check with you if he was going into your stateroom or your other son - but I "believe" its your stateroom so I will fix. Check in a few minutes and it should be fixed.

Of course he is! :goodvibes My baby's 14 (15 in May) and still called by one and all "the baby" as in "Did you order a pizza for the baby..." I imagine he'll still be "the baby" when he's got babies of his own... :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

The site looks cool! Thanx Angelica!

Kay, your three hours of heaven sounds like...well...Heaven!

Angelica- i checked out your webpage...very nice job!

Tig and Kaz- i forgot that your kids are so close in age to chad and i. This should definetly make for a very fun trip. Tell them i am looking forward to meeting them all

Aisling- i am not sure how Bobbi would feel if she wasn't with them for their first trip to WDW. WE seriously need to to talk because 11 months if too long to wait.

tig- i did a picture test page on my printer and it came out great. Prob. would have been better if i had picture paper

That's *very* good news cause usually plain paper pics on my HP were horrible. Thank you~

I know my daughter gets along with Aisling's boys ::yes:: I pray my son does too...he and Chad have such strong personalities~I worry a little.

I rather enjoyed having Chad sit near me at Palo on our cruise...I was really looking forward to finding out what kind of conversationalist he is. (With 13 at our dinner table every night we sat next to a different person every night-Palo was my first chance to have a real convo with him.)

He's Good~not cocky, not high and mighty, very smart and well educated~

I hope my son sees in Chad what I see...a genuine, caring, smart, cool guy.
