Brooks’ runDisney Debut Collection Is *Finally* Getting a Major Restock

...The runDisney x Brooks debut collection will be available to shop online at Brooks’ website. Starting on September 10th, we suggest keeping an eye out on the page as the collection is set to restock. That means you can finally get your hands on those super cute Mickey and Minnie sneakers you’ve been wanting since spring. In addition to the original collection, Brooks will also be dropping their brand new sneakers for Halloween, which feature those sinister Disney Villains.

Like before, Brooks Run Club Members will get a chance to shop the restock and new Halloween collection early. It’s free to sign up and totally worth it if you want that chance to get your hands on a pair of these highly coveted shoes.

Thanks! I might try to get the Halloween shoes for my husband. He's not a runner, but I recently turned him on to Brooks shoes for the parks and he loved the the purple.

Only size 5 and 12 in the black halloween shoe was available for the women's sizes and 0 sizes of purple. So much for the people hoping there were extras sitting in a warehouse.

I was bummed that there weren't any purple women's shoes larger than size 5, but there are plenty of Mickey/Minnie Ghost Max 2s in stock for Men and Women!

By the time I looked, there was nothing at all in the Ghosts for women, and nothing in the men's Ghosts small enough for women. Men with big feet still have a chance though!

I'll just save my money for Princess Weekend, when I know I'll be able to get what I want (assuming they do Ghosts at Princess)

I forget how long it took for Springtime Surprise shoes to sell out (I think they had more availability to start?) but sure seems like what they put online for this sale is just whatever wasn’t sold at the expo, at least for the weekend shoes. Kind of stinks bc a lot of people have been asking about them selling these online and were told to keep an eye out for this.

I clicked as soon as it went live to check. I didn't think much would be available, but in case I was wrong I wanted a 2nd pair of the black in my size. (My favorite souvenir from the trip.) Very happy I could get a pair at the expo!

I also looked as soon as it went up. I was hoping for a pair of the purple for park wear but my size wasn't there from the start. I guess we now know to prioritize the weekend design at the expo if you love them!

I got to the expo at 7:30 on friday so I didn't have a chance to go see shoes. glad I snagged the ones I liked just now.

This shoe talk has me wondering what they might do for colorways for the next races. They seem to be aiming less for whatever the specific characters are or that year's artwork. Springtime Surprise got a nice blue that matches the logo on the website, DL Halloween has the black and dark purple that they often tie to the general villains theme.

- Wine and Dine: general logo is a wine grape, which could point to a wine colorway? In the future I wonder if they'll shift back to villains themes for this one
- MW: Logo is dark blue with the castle, weekend key art is also dark blue
- DL January: light blue logo with the DL D
- PW: logo is closer to red than purple, with a crown. Could go with any sort of color that's been associated with this weekend

It's stereotypical, but I would love hot pink for Princess weekend!

If they actually have the castle on the MW shoe I might have to fly in 2 days earlier 😂

Totally fine! Could see it being a pink or maybe a pastel purple.

If I have this correctly every shoe except for the Springtime Surprise shoe has something on the heel. 😬

When I got to the Brooks tent on Friday around 3pm, they were sold out of the purple Halloween weekend sneaker in my size. But I was able to order one for delivery. I'm guessing they were dipping into the online stock. I was hoping after SS that availability wouldn't be an issue!

I hope one day they do a Haunted Mansion sneaker like the one New Balance had in the old collab. The soles of mine melted off during last year's Halloween weekend heatwave!

So I did my first half and challenge today and I just have to say I’m wildly impressed with those who have done a marathon, I can’t imagine doing double this.

Also to those who’ve done Dopey… are you guys ok? This is a safe space
The day after my first half in 2011 I stared in shock at the people with Goofy medals. I could not begin to comprehend how they ran twice the distance I had the day after a half given how much pain I was in.

Yet somehow within 5 years I was running 10K and Half challenge weekends and against all odds before the end of the decade, I had finished my first marathon the same day I finished my first Dopey. Some of the marathon and Dopey is mental. Much of it is also consistency during training.

As for whether or not Dopey runners are okay, that's a very reasonable question. On one occasion the night before the mararthon, a bunch of runners were leaving Epcot to prepare for the next morning and simply called each other Dopey. On another occasion, a group of Dopey runners were on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the Magic Kingdom a couple of days after Dopey and wildly chanted Dopey every time he showed up in the ride. So we're probably not okay. :P

In all seriousness, congratulations on your first half and first challenge. At least in my case, my first challenge wound up becoming part of the journey towards convincing me that I could handle the marathon and Dopey. I've since run 5 marathons and 5 Dopeys. My best running skill is that I refuse to care how slow I am and just keep putting one foot in front of the other until I cross that finish line.
