This is only one persons opinion. I had a all-in-one. The main problem was when one part died. So did the rest.

Grim, if you are serious I can make you an offer~

I am looking at an all in one cause I need to have a real office to be a travel agent...I even have to have a designated phone and fax line, it's one of the requirements.

Tig, I have an all-in-one, have had it for a few years, and it has never broken down, even with TONS of use. I've used all the features: faxing, scanning, printing, copying, and I've been very satisfied. It's a Lexmark, I have to go downstairs to check the model number, so give me a minute. It's ink-jet, not laser.
Cost about $150 from Circuit City.

I've seen alot of Lexmarks on the shelves...the Canon and HP are what have stood out...I'll look into the Lexmarks now too~thank you Dahlin~

I had an HP. It worked great til I wore out the track that the ink rides on inside the machine.

You know Aisling, after me cancelling my ride up to you my friend finished up the day before

I sign up for my classes on wednesday, I will know by the time I get home what kind of schedule I will have...it's gonna be nice to finally have something to fill my time with other than house kayrap~

Ooh! If MLKing day is a holiday at my school maybe I could come bother you that Monday :scratchin

We just bought an all in one also. It's HP, but closer to $500 I think. We run it all day both of us and it's good so far. Prior to that we had 3 , a fax, a scan and printer. For us it was about making better use of our space.

I still have a good scanner and color printer in the house, I don't think you can get good scan and color print in one machine for cheap, yet...

I was also thinking space. Copies, faxes and printing would be its main functions-I have an HP scanner if I need better quality.

Hi Mateys....started off as a great day...shopping at Valley Fair:woohoo: ...then stopped at a consultant's where we put together all the "goodie bag" gifts that we're giving out at Camp Hammer in a couple of wks..then home to watch my Cowboys .....unbelievably they lost...that pretty much ruined the rest of my day...but keeping myself busy...have to balance the St Francis bank accounts before tomorrow night's meeting & pack my bags for the gym....hope you all haD a great day......

Happy Monday, Mateys!!! :cool1: :goodvibes

Got Matty at home today - no work for him as he feels ill. He looks wiped out, poor thing, so I'm leaving him to chill out in his room and hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow...

I've been exercising today - did 15000 steps on the treadmill and planning another session later! Gotta up that metabolism, laydeez!!!

Hope you're all well - catch up with you soon... :grouphug:

Wow, you go girl! I need a massage and a nap just reading it!

How's Matty feeling? A mama's TLC is always the best medicine.

Kaz, I NEED you to do some more of your latest trippie!

Nan, a few more months and you'll be on your cruise. I know you and your family can use it. How's all by you?

just checking in with everyone and saying "HI".

we are a little over 11 months out now.

As I believe is mentioned previously, we will be doing the 7 day after this one also and just staying onboard, so we'll be on the Magic for 14 days with a B2B

Hope everyone has a great week.

Kay, are you and Linda cruising on Nan's repo cruise, too? A long while ago when I was brousing through that thread, I thought I saw you there!

yes, the May 10th one to CA.

We did the first one, but I was w/my DH and she was with her DH. Since my DH passed last March, we are rooming together and leaving her DH at home. I am glad I found someone to cruise with me and we get along so well together and are making some wonderful memories.

I made him his fave dinner and let him have free choice with the remote control - it don't get no better! :rotfl2: Still looks off-colour to me but he's going to work tomorrow... :sad2:

I was just thinking about writing it this afternoon, Aisling. I'll make a start tomorrow - scouts honour... ;)

11 months and just under 2 weeks to go!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I'm sooo looking forward to this cruise - we have such a great time as a family and I can't wait to get all my loved ones onboard... I've been looking at the stateroom decorations and I'm thinking of surprising the kids with a banner or two...

B2B sounds like a dream come true - one day, Kay, one day... :cloud9:

Just popping in to say HI! I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season. :goodvibes

It's been a while since I've been on the DIS and I am trying to catch up. Life has been so busy lately and to top it off I have a very challenging bunch of students this year (I am a teacher for those of you who are curious) plus I am looking into schools for my Masters.

Tig- I recently bought a LaserJet color printer but it was not an all in one. Although at staples they did have a B&W LaserJet for about $280. It is definitely worth getting if you have the room for it.

We are almost at the 11 month mark  :cheer2:
