We will be on the Oct 20th 4 day cruise on the Wonder--2 adults and a 5 yr old (will be 5 on Oct. 29th) and a 12 1/2 yr.old. Here are my many questions:

1. We plan on bringing soda, beer and water with us. Do we need to put it in our luggage, as that will be pretty filled, or can we openly carry it on?

2. How is the water pressure in the cabins? We are in a cat. 5 on deck 7.

3. Can you walk around with your own "open containers", paper cups, etc. or do you need to buy those expensive plastic cups? What about at dinner, can you b.y.o.b?

4. The refill stations, is someone standing there to make sure you have a refillable cup, or how does that work?

5. I know you have to pay 5/10 bucks for Palo's, but do they present you with a bill at the end of your dinner, for your dinner?

6. If I put my youngest in the Oceaneer's club on the day we are docked at Nassau, and I'm out galavanting around the island, what happens if my child wants to leave, or something happens and they need to reach me? I can't imagine the pagers work that far.

7. My husband wants to do the Regatta thing with my 12 yr.old daughter, but I thought it says something about stopping for a cocktail somewhere? I don't have a problem with my daughter watching people have a drink, but what kind of place is this?

8. We would like to order room service for the mornings (verandah) when do you need to order by to get coffee and cereal by @8 am?

I thank you all for your responses to my questions, I have become obsessed with this website!!! My husband keeps asking my kids if they have seen me recently and he wonders out loud where I am! I tell him if I am learning about all the things we need to know about our trip!! I can't wait!!!!

Okay Eskimo here it goes
#2 Water pressure is great No problem with water
#3 You can take your drinks out on deck in any container, but try not to wrap a bottle in a brown paper bag ;)
Non alcohol drinks are included at dinner
# 4 the refills are only available at the bars, snack shops and by waitstaff
#8 We usually hang it out at bedtime and its never late

We carried our own beer onboard in a collapsable cooler we bought at Sams...we used this cooler to take with us on our excursions...we did our own snorkeling/beach trips to allow us more time instead of booking with the cruise line(plus it saved us money)...we filled our cooler with stuff from the buffet that morning and once even ordered some sandwiches from room service (a lot of people did this). We suggest taking a collapsable cooler onboard with your drinks because it is easier to carry around...some people did carry drinks onboard just in the cases they come in, but you won't be able to get into your room for a while after you board, and a cooler with a shoulder strap is easier to carry to the wecome-aboard lunch than a case of drinks. Plus, if you leave the cooler open in your room with the beer/drinks in it...your room service guy will keep it filled with ice and you'll always have cold drinks available.

I wouldn't take water...it is a lot of extra weight...the water at the drink station on deck 9 is very good...we did buy some empty water bottles(rubbermaid brand or something like that) for everyone in our family at Walmart before we went and filled those up at the water station for excursions and the hot days by the pool.

You can walk around with your own cups, etc...we used our Walmart water bottles the whole time filled with iced tea, etc. The drink refill station only has coffee, tea, water, and milk...free for everyone. The soda refill station is where you have to purchase the Disney refill cup in order to get free soda refills.

We never ordered breakfast roomservice...we loved the Topsiders breakfast...tons more choices(great chocolate croissants)...plus we loved eating out on deck...gorgeous view in the morning...but I think you can hang the card out late at night or even call in the morning. We only did room service late afternoons and we just called.

Hi eskimo, and welcome to the cruise board! :)

1. You can bring drinks on however you'd like.

2. Water pressure has never been a problem.

3. Yep, you can carry drinks around however you'd like, and yep, you can bring them to dinner.

4. You refill your refillable mugs at any bar that offers soft drinks, including Castaway Cay.

5. Your Palo bill comes at the end of the meal.

6. The pagers don't work that far, actually, that is something to consider.

7. I'm not sure about the Nassau regatta. The one on St. Maarten does not stop anywhere for drinks, but they do serve alcholic beverages after the race part.

8. Put the door hanger out the night before for room service breakfast and it will be there right on time.

Enjoy! :)
