Hi PEEPs!!!

Hi Mare - hope you and the family are well!!!:yay:

We're good thanks. Having B's birthday party tomorrow. We decided to wait until it was warmer, now they're calling for T-storms. :( Glad your cub is feeling better, good luck to Poppa Bear.

Yes, I'm off from June 17 to around Aug. 17. I need to use some of that time to get the classroom cleaned up and organized, and I'll spend some time prepping materials for next year, but by and large, I've got 2 months off. Woo hoo!
Lucky ducky!!!! :cool1:

Okay guys, I need comforting. (I'm trying to type this before my dad comes in, so I'm hurrying.)
I just emailed my BEST guy friend (Who lives in a different country now, go figure) (By the way, long story and get used to paranthesis) I just told him I like him. Even though... Well, you get the point. I think he likes me back, we've been like that since 4th grade. I don't know how he'll respond so I'm just kinda afraid he'll laugh or something. I need comforting in case something happens. I know my Dis friends won't laugh at me. =)

But, other than that, life's swell! I have a chance of running into DISUNC :worship: He's going July 1-8 and I'm going July 1-9 :goodvibes

But, the dude thing is gonna bug me.
Just look for the tall guy with lime green hair with the teenager with red hair! So how did the email with the dude go over?

Mornin Peeps!

Winnie was doing great with her physical therapy, but about a week ago she started losing comfprtable Range of Motion in her knee and she started having more intense pain rather than the typical soreness. SO she is back on crutches and will have another MRI at the end of the week! She'll miss her big end of the year field trip next Tuesday, because it is a park for hiking and then a waterpark. Poor kid!:(

Here i come waddling in again ... i feel like crapola lately and sitting here is just too hard to even imagine. No specific reason just this time of year when the hot weather starts wears me down (makes the feather wilt)

Hope the MRI turn out nice and clean it wouldn't be nice for her to start the summer dealing with a lot of pain and such. Finally got result from mine (not sure if i already passed this on or not being bird-brained and all) but my rotator cuff is torn in 3 places. Chiropractor says that since it happened so long ago (around January) he will just have to help me learn some exercises to help ease the pain, not much to be done with range of motion at this point <sigh>

John took Em out on a "lunch date" yesterday to help her feel a bit more special and they both had a great time, makes me wish MY dad had done some of the things he does for Em!!

oh and in case i don't get back on line before tomorrow

WOW! I've been busy cause my grandson has been in town & I had to work this weekend, but this is the slowest this baord has ever been.

Don't let the green die!!!:rotfl2:

Hope you had fun w/ the grandson!!:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

I didn't know you have a grandson!
Let's see if I get this right (check me, Kat...) This is her DH's rather distant daughter's (from his previous relationship) young son.

WOW, PD you must be SOOOOOOO psyched for your vacay to the beach!!! Can you take my little cub....he is dying to see the ocean! (He's actually seen it - two years ago, but doesnt remember it....:worried: ) We will try really hard to take a day trip to VA Beach this summer. We used to a lot - but w/ DH working weekends the last two summers, it was too much for me to watch a toddler and a not-great swimmer by myself. Now I have a GREAT swimmer and a really-getting-there swimmer AND a DH that will be off one day of the weekend! YEAH!!!!!:yay: :woohoo: :cool1:

Sounds like your beach-going days are back on. Hooray! We used to go a lot when the kids were little because my MIL lived about 1/2 mile from a great beach. Now that the kids are big, our idea of a beach day is finding a nice restaurant that looks out on the water. No more sandy fried chicken.

Hey every1 just popping in to say hello :goodvibes
Hello. How are things in your neck of the woods?

I'm getting excited about our trip to PA. I made reservations yesterday to see Independence Hall. I feel so history nerdy, but for a West Coast girl, this is a big deal. CA historical stuff (the Missions, Indian villages, etc) is all stuff I grew up with. This old stuff'll be new to me!

Hi Hugh! Thanks for explaining the grandkid reltionship to me! Yes send your cub, he can come to the beach with us. After a swim do you blow dry his fur or just loet it dry naturally:confused3 ?

Hi Nephew kid! How psyched (dating myself) are you for summer ...8 days to go!

Danielle, you will love Philadelphia...Independence Hall is beautiful.

My favorite thing to do in Philadelphia is the ghost tour at night. Spooky but cool!

...why must it get silent when i have to go :(
Ohhh, sorry I missed your reply - I feel asleep, which is good, I REALLY needed it!:yay:

Ahhhh, a restaurant by the beach sounds :cloud9: . For now, it is sandwhiches (that crunch w/ sand grit when you bite them) and cheap soda! But still, heavenly.:goodvibes

I usually just take a deep breath and give it a big huff and a big puff and blow that fur dry!:lmao: Man, that ghost tour sounds VERY cool!

I didn't know you have a grandson!

Well, he is my husband's daughter's son, but calls me Grandma Kathy. He just turned 3 and is so cute. They live in Conn. The daughter just found her dad 2 1/2 years ago, after her mom had spent all that time telling her he paid child support not to see her! Course, I talk with her more than he does, and since they are close in age, Chip talks with her more.

Not sre I'll even have "natural" blood grandkids. Chip says he will adopt not to pass on his bone condition & Mike says he is never having kids. And it will be a long wiat for Jeff & Krista to be marrying & producing!

I love VA (the state AND the bear). We did the Williamsburg, Yorktown & Jamestown trip a few years ago, and had a great time. Sorry we won't meet this time. How about coming out to CA sometime? (And that goes for all of y'all).
