11 days til' Disney  :woohoo:

Yippee -- have a great time in case i don't get back on before that --- been rather lazy these days when it comes to using the puter. Strange but it used to be my life now it has slipped into the far corners of my world. Taking care of my daughter (doc now wondering if she is showing early signs of Chrons -- prayer for her that it isn't please), getting ready for painting her room (UGH) and actually picked up some cross-stitching that i forgot i had! I think about you all often just don't get here very often. I do read thru the thread but rarely take the time to sign in and write anything.

I made "lifetime member" at W.W. on Thursday and am so proud of myself. Wanted to go out and celebrate but not in the cards right now. Emily is often too sick, either doubled up in pain or sleeping after. John has some sort of intestinal bug so only renting his food for the last month or so. I know I know TMI.

Tomorrow we head off to Em's university for what is called "headstart" it is a day to pay fees, get student card, tour residence & campus and make sure she signed up for the correct kind of courses. Then in the afternoon we head off to the "accessible learning centre" fancy phrase for the"disability office" to hook her up with her counselors and arrange her exam plans, she needs to be in a small room to be able to concentrate but that needs to be set up NOW, and tons of other stuff. Looking forward to it and hoping it runs smoothly for my two (the ones who are calling each other "toilet buddies")

Thanks!
Cool that you picked up cross stitching.
She'll be in our prayers.

Whoah, you have a full plate! I hope Em' feels better.

Well got everything I needed to do done. Took dh's uniforms to the cleaners and a bit surprised at the cost it will be. But it will be up to him if I continue to take them or go back to cleaning and ironing them here at home.

Also went to Wally World to do some shopping. After I had to return to the house because I forgot my credit card on my desk that is :rolleyes1 I actually managed to get out of there for less $$$$ than I thought the groceries were going to cost.

Now I'm just playing around with my siggy and catching up on reading posts.
You know, I haven't met you, but I like you already!... You say Wally World!!! Haha, goes to show what you can do at Wally World without a credit card. Playing around with siggies are fun ;) Oh yeah, I'm Dani =) I'm 13, but I love Disney, my friends are tired of me and I have ODD; though I'm sure everybody else on here has that too.

NICE TO MEET CHA!

Poor kid! I hate watching kids in pain just wanting to be able to "fix it" I sure hope they find out what is at the bottom of all of her pain, she deserves to have a nice summer vacation!

I'll keep her in my thoughts

Thanks Jacqueline! She actually started to suddenly do much better late this week. She did a full PT session on Friday and though she was sore she said it wasn't as painful as it had been. :confused3 We get the results of bloo tests tomorrow afternoon, but I'm thinking everything will come back negative, possibly she just overdid it before. She actually asked her Physical Therapist if she could skim board at the beach next week:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Ummm...not surprisingly the answer was no!

Congrats on Lifetime. I was there once upon a time, but I let go of the dream. Nobody to blame but myself.
Prayers for Em and John. Hope they both feel better soon.

The fires this weekend were very close to where DH and I were leading a retreat. I got home and had an email from my teaching partner. She spent the weekend hosing down her mom's house in Watsonville. They were advised to evacuate (but not required to), but the crews are spread so thin, if you don't want to lose your house, you have to stay and fight for it yourself.

Hugs to Winnie, and everyone else having a hard time now.

So, how was your trip in May?

It was alot of fun. Can't wait to go back next year. There were a number of rides that we didn't get to go on because of some longer lines on them (it was school trip week apparently) but there were a number of our fav's that we did get to do.

That's disappointing. I'm going for the 4th, so I'm hoping it won't be that busy.
