New iPhones

I watched the Samsung Note 4 video and really like it. But it is just too big for me. My 4s has seen better days and i'm long overdue for an upgrade. So will it be the 6 or the Note? I'm kind of basing my decision on the watches which I can see adding later.

From what I have read of the 5.5, it looks to be a handful and very hard to hold with one hand.
I have to wonder when the preorders would arrive versus when they become available in the stores. I think with the 4S from what I remember the people that pre ordered them got after they arrived in the store.

Yes, it's 16, 64 and 128. The cost of the 64 is the same as what the 32 used to be in the smaller version. A little bonus IMO since I would've gotten the 32.

I keep saying I want to see them in person but I'm pretty sure there will be a round of new 6's in our home soon. None of us are interested in the 6+. I'm excited about Apple Pay. It will work in Disney so seems like I must NEED it.

I was looking at the measurements on the Apple website, the larger one would be too big for me, I have a small hand. The smaller size 16GB is $199, 64GB is $299. Less than I expected. The larger size one is $100 more.

I'm glad to see other people are also concerned about the 6 being too big and not fitting in pocket! I actually drew it off on paper and measured a friend's Galaxy-something-or-another-which-looks-clunky-to-me against it. I'm thinking I'll save some dough and just move up to a 5S.

I agree! I'm pretty frustrated that phones just keep getting bigger and bigger. I have a 4s currently and didn't update to the 5 bc of size, but I'll likely buy one now bc the 6 is just ridiculous to me! I'll prob have to keep the 5 for two years until I see what they come out with next. I told DH today that after seeing the size increase again I may have to look into other phones options bc I don't want something the size of my ipad(mini) as a phone.

Thank goodness others agree with me! I LIVE with my iPhone - it goes everywhere with me. And I don't go everywhere with a purse. Larger phones are completely impractical.

It's been improved as it is every generation. I'm curious what makes you say the camera quality is crappy? I have some pretty decent prints from my iPhones and I use a high end DSLR with even higher end lenses as my real camera. For being a camera on a phone it's pretty decent.

I laugh about this all the time, for a couple decades the major selling point for phones was they were smaller and smaller and for the last few years they just keep getting bigger and bigger.

I have the HTC One M8 and although I love the phone it makes me laugh that it barely fits in my pocket.

Security is still strong with Apple, you only hear big security flaws on the news because its rare things that dont happen very happen. If your talking about the recent "iCloud" hack, its just silly kids with uber weak passwords...

also, 64bit on iPhone! no androids so far has that!!! yet!!!

I have a iPhone 5s, and I'm not sure why 64bit has improved it?

Me too, but I always buy the 64, and now I get a 128 for the same price I was expecting to spend!!

I've been waiting to upgrade to a 5s and I did it today, to a 32 gb. I had to order it from Bestbuy.com because most of the stores around here are out of them. So if you're looking for a 32 gb phone, I'd order asap.

They are keeping the 32gb 5s, so if they were out, it was temporary. They are keeping 1 of the 5c, and 2 sizes of the 5s.

One thing I can say about Iphones, they seem to hold the value. I am trading in my 5 with Verizon, just because it's easier than selling outright. They are giving me $250 for my 2 year old phone. I checked the value of my sons Galaxy 4, that is only 1 year old, and the trade in value on that one was only $120.
So, with that my 128 will only cost me $149

I talked to 2 local stores yesterday and they both said they've been out of the 32 gb for months and haven't been able to order them for restock.

I just checked online and in my area (the 10 closest stores) I can get a 32gb for AT&T, Sprint or Verizon.

No shortage around here.
