Madge,
How old are your kids? Teachers out there, don't be mad at me, but could you just pull the kids out?
If they are still in grammar school, I can't imagine the huge harm in missing five days of school. (again, no one out there flame me)
If you can't pull them out, I share your pain. That is a major bummer.

Good morning, sorority house!
Most schools were closed yesterday b/c of the record cold - an unheard of occurance here in most people's memory. My faculty asked to go in for a professional day so as to count it as a day in school which we did do. We have had 3 snow days already from the December blizzard.
congrats to DH and DD!
heading over to Disbug's thread to post about the sorority meet.madge~ Hang in there! I agree - it's better going to Disney when you can - ideal time or not rather than staying home. I believe it is difficult to take kids out of high school for more than 1 or 2 days. It is so much harder for them to catch up.
at the HS that my DS will attend in the fall, the attendance policy is that if no days are missed, then the student is exempt from the final. makes me absolutely crazy....

Some of the SUITES "DO" have balconies!!! They are on the upper floors overlooking the POOL on the FAR WEST WING...please call and ask. Also, they are not in the habit of comping upgrades to Exec. suites (Muffy was lucky!). There are not enough, and these are usually the first to be reserved by companies during conventions, etc. But....it NEVER hurts to ask.Originally posted by MOM POPPINS
Hi dis friends![]()
I know the jr. suites do not have balconies at the Dolphin but do the executive suites have them ???
Our trip is on the horizon and I am trying to pin down our last priority seatings. We are always wanting to try something new, but its hard to leave out the favorites.I let each child pick a restaurant they either want to go to for the first time or an old favorite.
I hope everyone has a great weekend, Waving to the room :wave2

Muffy~What was the # of your Exec. suite? Was it located ON CL? Thanks. ^_^
We were on the 3rd floor, 3193 and 3195. We had a view of the grotto pool. It was very easy to get to as it was right off the lobby.
