NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Data point: I received all 10 $500 cards from GC (2 orders $2500 each for $2250 each). DVC dues are now paid! with 10% off! Thanks to all

Question: my capital one shopping didn't track correct even though I activated it from the email I received. On capital one shopping it says "ineligible" for each of the $2250 purchases. Anyone know a way to fix this.

If not, I'm still happy with 10% off the giftcards, but I want to see if I can fix this too.
Check the Terms and Conditions. I used Upromise and it said "Orders over $2,000 are not eligible for cash back rewards and will be declined."

Thanks to a recommendation, I've added the Capital One Shopping extension and am now receiving regular savings offers. Was about to apply it to an order and noticed this "Not eligible for purchases or redemptions of gift cards" and would love to know from the experts: does that mean if I pay for my order using a gift card, the rewards won't track? If so, I'll check between Rakuten & RMN for the better cash back option. TIA to everyone who helps with all the GC tricks & savings throughout the year - when every penny counts, you're really making a difference. Happy New Year!

With giftcards.com, almost all the portals restrict the cashback to orders of $2,000 or less. Also, if you use a promo code with giftcards.com, the promo code must be listed on the portal or the cashback will be declined.

A little late to the DP game as I’ve been out of town for a couple days and don’t know when the mail arrived, but waiting for me were the 4 $500 DGCs from gc dot com that I ordered on 12/19. On each one I got the 10% off from the site, 5% from using my four different Chase cards with the offer, and 2.5% from Rakuten (got emails about both those going through not long after purchasing). I didn’t pay for tracking, just the $1.99 for each card to mail. Very happy with how that worked out! Thank you to the group for alerting me!

Well I received my Best Buy bill today and I was charged $135 for the first 3 DGCs I purchased during their sale when $50 cards were $45…and I was charged regular price $50 each for the additional 6 cards I purchased even though they showed up as $45 in shopping cart when I bought them. I called Best Buy and gave them my 3 order numbers and they informed that the sale was limited to 3 dis gift cards at $45 ea. I told them that if the cards had shown in my shopping cart at regular price I wouldn’t have bought them.

that's a twist I never expected.... will be curious to see if anyone else had that happen.

Chase finally offered me the 5% back at gift cards.com on all three of my cards, expiring tonight 🙃 I do need more Disney GCs for dining on our upcoming trip (should have bought more when they were 10% off). Do you think the chase 5% back plus Rakuten 2.5% is the best I’ll do between now and Feb?

That was not my experience at all. I bought a total of 15 $50 DGC's from Best Buy between 12/16/24 and 12/18/24 and they all were priced at $45. Double check your order confirmation emails for the price.

WOW. I checked my orders and cc charges and I was charged $135 for every order of 3. I did not use a Best Buy gift card cc.

Careful, Chase used to have issues tracking on the last couple days of a deal, maybe they've gotten better?

Anybody done a Chase offer successfully on it's last day lately?

Good call. I had that issue with Chase on one of their rotating bonus categories, and when I called they corrected it and gave me the extra points.

I would be hesitant to do an offer on the last day or two, because if you have to call them to get credited, it is always going to be YMMV if someone will actually credit you for it.

Chase hasn’t been tracking very well recently. We had to call for a 10% off a Hyatt booking. That was a full $35!

I’m careful now to track chase.
