Corky805: Read your trip report about Marco caricature artist at WL, I'm so glad he was back, looked for him while I was there and didn't see him. Last May he drew three of my younger nephews and I still need the five year old to set for him. They were 3, 7 & 9...I couldn't believe how good they where. Marco kept them entertain the whole time and they all loved their caricatures. Thanks for the info.

Got in late last night.
WL & AKL were both very good.
Highlights were finding Fred's memories box.
Short lines, good food.
Now we're (stinkerbelle and I ) home, been married for two weeks.
Our dog Jazz happy to be home too, she's snoring on the couch as I type. hehe. Bought her a WDW Doggie Collar and Mickey & Pluto Bowl.
Off to do a few chores, hopefully I'll get the trip reports started soon.

OMG!
I watched a feature about WL on the Travel channel a bit ago,it was " Great Family Hotels".
I am yearning so much more now to stay there.

Next weekend we are going down to the beach in Gulf Shores for a few days ----and as soon as we get back, I AM GETTING US BOOKED !!

Here is what I have decided afer running the numbers. I'm going to book a woods view room with the dream maker package/silver plan.
I would also LOVE concierge but will wait to see if we can add it on when we check in to save some money(thanks for the tips!)And then maybe, just maybe, we will get a courtyard view upgrade .But if not, that will be fine.

Just got done mowing the lawn, and DW has the Princesses in the tub. After they get their jams on we are going to watch a couple of the Disney specials that I recorded today on the travel channel just to get us in the mood.

Then it's off to the airport tomorrow at 6:00 AM for Wilderness Lodge and Di$ney World (hope there's enough in the account to cover this jolt).

Once again thanks to all for your help over the past few weeks. I will try to post from the room in the evenings if the Princesses leave me with any energy.

Oh, and since the talk has turned to football on this thread....

SShhhh..... DisPrincesses are almost asleep. I already have the instructions printed out and in the folder. Just got done watching Disney Undiscovered-Very good show. I wish I had recorded the one with the WL in it. I can't wait to see it.

It has been about 15 years since DW and I went. We stayed off property and just went for 3 days as I was there on business. Have been waiting all this time to take Casey (7) and Amy(5). They are so excited, you should have heard them when they saw part of the Spectro Parade on TV.

The plan is to check in about 1:30 tomorrow, wander around the lodge, swim a little, and then have PS at WCC at 6:00. After dinner we may go check out Spectro at MK, but have to keep in mind that Sun morning is EE at MK and we have PS at CRT, (and to think I didn't know what any of these acronyms stood for just a few weeks ago- hmmm could you have all turned me into a Dis-Nut?

tomorrow is the day we arrive at the WL. sitting at the sheraton suites and will take suttle back to MCO and then the mears transpot to the WL. will post tomorrow with room number and any upgrades if any.

First off, I am very excited. It looks like we will be leaving a day early. My mother has decided to go down for a few days and camp at Ft Wilderness, so we are leaving with her on Friday to spend the night!! We will be able to check in to the WL early Saturday and get our vacation started!!

My question is-- We will be arriving on Nov 7th, but would like to get there before it gets dark so we can get the camper backed up and things set up. What time does it get dark down there once daylight savings time ends? These time changes always confuse me!! We are an hour behind. We were thinking leave by about 1:00, which would get us there around 7 or so (our time 2 and 8 your time). Will this be too late?

Thanks for your help. And since we're talking football, I will throw in a WAR EAGLE!! Disappointed we aren't playing the Gators this year!! But real happy with the Tennessee game yesterday!!

It is dark now at 7:00 PM ESDT, factoring in that it gets darker earlier each day, plus will be off daylight savings time, you can plan on it being dark at 7:00 PM ET.when you come down.

So add the set up camp time plus the travel time and you have your start time.
