Hi Florida Cat !
Just thought I drop in and say I'm from Washington, IL. We could have been neighbors!! Actually I'm still here! Thus, I have added a Dec. trip last year and this to "Our Wonderful WL!" I also have my directions to Majestics Memory Box all ready to go!
DH and myself traveling alone (yea!) This December will be our 31st anniversary! Attending MVMCP on that special day! Will seem kind of like MK is throwing us a great big anniversary party!

The weather should be just beautiful. It was actually cool this morning when I walked the dogs. Somewhere in the 60's. (that's cool for us). So wishing you all wonderful sunny days and magical nights.

Watched the yankees win last night from seats so high I felt my ears popping as we went up to them. We were in Tier 3 of Yankee Stadium just behind home plate. Great view. Felt like I was watching Ants though. Hardest part is taking the train into the city from Jersey, taking the A to the D from Penn Station then doing the reverse to go home. Didn't get home till 2:30am!!! Sunday it's off to the Giants game against Miami. Can't wait!

Look like we brought home another "souvenir". Dd started coughing the other night. Came home from pre-k with a temp, glassey eyes & more coughing.

Kept her home from school today, IL's are watching her. (We're so lucky they don't mind, so may Gparents we know refuse to help.) She is sssooooooo sssaaaaddddd, it is "jammie party" day (the kids all wear their pajammies all day & eat "b/fast food"). Plus she has her first gymnastics class tomorrow & we need to buy her ballet outfit for her classes which start on Tues.

Last year too, she got sick after our trip. Well, at least she's been healthy during our trips!

It's freezing up here today (we live just north of NYC). Last Sun, shorts, today, sweaters........

Need to convince dh to move to FL!!

Fred, sounds like an experience going to Yankee Stadium! I am not a baseball fan but I would love to see it just once! It seems my man JBJ will be at the Giants game as well this weekend...so if you see him give him a little for me!

Rumor Mill: Disney is going to have big price increases in ’04. You have to wonder where the break point is, if this is true. I remember when I moved here a park pass was 35.00 and people were mad. I guess it proves the Mouse can drain your wallet and make you feel good and come back for more

But I have to agree with you about the state of Fl and football. I WILL be living there someday. I have to, only way I can get in state tuition for my two kids at FSU. In about 18 years, watch for a football player at FSU named Nole.

Sorry to hear about your DD, I got the same "souvenir" arrived home last Thursday and Thursday night coughing started, today I'm back to normal, (not sure about normal but feel ok) Sending Pixie Dust, hope she feels better soon.

FloridaCat, my oldest nephew started in Gainsville this summer right out of High School...(Summer Session) I kept telling him how important collage was before he even started pre-K, I just didn't think he would be a GATOR, I was planning trips to Tallahasse to see Bobby and the boys GO NOLES...Now I know Gainsville better than Tallahassee so for the next four years, maybe a few more what with Masters degree in Engineering..go gators!
Love all Florida Football, but Bobby's my man.
Gainsville is closer to WDW....

Strange...2 days after we got home I had this terrible cough with a contant drip in my throat. DD had it for a few days as well a few days after I broke from it.

Maybe something floating around in the pools down there? (And I don't mean a Baby Ruth!!!)

Glad to see some more Noles fans here.
like you I am bringing the kids up to go to FSU. But I guess in reality, they can go where they are happy. That is why my son's middle name is Nole, no matter what he does, he will be a Nole for life!!

Oh and I will be in Tally on Nov 15 for Homecoming, might have to wear my lime green Mickey head.
