Neighbors trash / others treasure

Would you please share how you unclogged your vacuum? Mine has a blockage, but it's not a dyson.

Oh, and great finds!! :)

My gosh, would love to help you out but I have no idea. I called the Dyson 1-800 number on the front and they walked me thru a series of step. The machine was literally in a dozen parts. Come to find out, it looked like someone shredded some papers and it got stuck inside. It took a good 15-20 minutes on the phone. Would advise you to find out the number for your vac. co and try to have them trouble shoot for you. Good luck.

Sorry please read this thread by same OP. She is venting about her BFF NOT sharing a $100 gift card to Victoria's Secret with her. Here she takes garbage, which is fine since she asked but then finds problem with a sled, takes a gift card from LL Bean and is proud of it. Maybe she should split that with the neighbor she took the sled from. Appears $$$ is more important than friendship to this OP.

I see nothing wrong in trash digging if that is what you want to do. I see nothing wrong with fixing something, like the vacuum like OP did. I do see something wrong with taking a gift card from a company for something. OP should go to that neighbor and say I got this...here is half of it.

OP appears to have $$$$ signs for eyes since she whining about friend not sharing gift card. I guess I have had my say and have seen it all. I am glad I have the friends I do who wouldn't act like this OR DIG IN THE TRASH.

Sorry we are all entitled to our opinions and this behavior and attitude in the linked post and the 'taking' of a gift card is sad behavior and not what I would want my kids exposed too either.

Careful, that's an awfully tall horse you're sitting on. Wouldn't want you to get hurt if you fall off. :rolleyes1

Regardless of how you feel about the gift cards, the OP took items that were headed for a landfill and tried to reuse them, and in fact did save the vacuum. How is that not a good thing?

The VS thing was a whole different ball game. But honestly the neighbor probably doesn't care and just wanted to get rid of the junk and not have to deal with the hassle. She sounds a lot like me, I have given away on craigslist bags of dvds, clothes that are new with tags still on them, Cubs tickets, etc. obviously I could make money off some of it but it's not worth my time.

ETA I didn't mean that to sound snobby, I'm not rich but if I don't want something unless it's extremely valuable I'd rather just give it away than deal with the hassle of selling it.
