Need some information on Put In Bay, Ohio

Hi all! I am planning on taking a short weekend trip and Put In Bay is near me. I need some info about where to stay (I'd like to stay on the island) and opinions on whether or not October is a good time to go. Also, I'd like information on what there is to do, places to eat, etc. Please post here, or PM me. Thanks!!

HI bizybea! We are big Lake Erie fans. Check out Lake Erie/Ottawa County for lots of information on the area.

I'm not sure how much is still going on at Put-in-Bay this time of year. CHeck out .Jet Express for information on the "fastest way to Put-in-Bay.

In Sandusky, Cedar Point is still open. If you like water parks tryGreat Bear Lodge . If it's an adults only thing try Sawmill Creek Resort

Well, I've gone on day trips to Put-In-Bay, but I've never stayed overnight. You can either take the Jet Express or the Miller Ferry. I prefer the Miller Ferry, it is so much fun. You can take your car and bikes over. Once you get over to the island itself, you can take a bus into town. I prefer to walk, it's not really that far. There is: Stonehenge Estate, a beautifullly restored stone farmhouse and wine press cottage, miniature golf, Kimberly's carousel, bike rentals and golf cart rentals. a state park, the Perry Monument, a great park (DeRivera) overlooking the boat docks. I have a wine bottle from the old Lonz's Winnery. You will have a great time!
