Need advise on banked points

I sent out a deposit for 230 points in OKW today. My use year is August, the deal comes with 127 points banked from 2003. Do I have to use them by the end of August 2004? I am visting WDW this August, but I had already prepaid for an offsite hotel 3 months ago and cancellation is not possible, what should I do with these points? I also booked a boat cruise for August 2005, can I apply my points to it?

One thing you could do to prolong the life of the points is to deposit them with Interval International (II). I don't know how many more points it would take, but you may be able to deposit that 127 plus a few more points and be able to get a studio or a one bedroom II exchange at some point in the next two years.

That's what I did when I bought a resale with points left over. I ended up with a nice week on Hilton Head at a Marriott about 1 1/2 years after the points were depositied.

Banked August 2003 points would have to be used by July 31, 2005.
