New “Key To Disneyland” interactive experience coming May 16th

I was thinking about that. They set up all of the keyholes throughout the park. That has to cost a pretty penny. If they sell out of the plastic keys, what do they do with the scavenger hunt set up?
They probably have tens of thousands of the keys stored off site. The celebration is over 1+ year.

As multiple people suggested earlier in the thread, if Disneyland actually wanted to encourage people to buy MagicBand for the park, this would be a great way to do it. Have interactive scanning points set up in the park. Make the pick-up spot for completion a store or another place that is staffed with cast members. When you scan in and it shows you have done all of the things, a cast member gives you the prize.

Also, if the pin is hidden in the key, I am pretty sure someone is eventually going to figure out how to break into the compartment, because human nature is what it is.
