National Lampoon's February Quest For Fun!!~ LIVE UPDATE 2/9 post 852

Glad you got some shoes!

:rotfl2: You are too funny Rosie.
As for the Crocs I usually save those for summer when it's super hot. I alternate those and flip flops.
Glad you are all set in the undie department. :lmao:
I'm not even bringing a swimsuit. Just thinking about swimming in Feb makes me cold.

Well I bought them so I guess I'm bringing them. :lmao: We shall see if they work out as "park shoes".

I agree! The one's that look like they should be comfortable are not. :confused3

Feb in Florida is summer to me !!!:lmao::lmao:

Those shoes do look clunky...are we going to see them on the trip?:yay:

Shoes are often deceiving. Ones that look clunky=comfortable. Ones that look comfortable=awful......I tried on many comfortable looking shoes yesterday and no luck....

This is true, mine look pretty clunky too for running shoes, but I'm hoping that it's due to the great cushioning they're suppose to have. Have a See!

I don't have them as of yet, but they are ordered. I'll keep you all in the loop.

I agree with you and Jordy, it's hard to know unless you wear them. I don't typically buy shoes I've never worn before, but once I get them I'll get them on and wear them around a bit. :3dglasses

I'll have to take a picture next to them...:)
:upsidedow Yes, you will have to, we will want to see them. Sorry my efforts were fruitless for you in the shoe department Jordy.

I agree about breaking them in. I also have to break myself in. I usually have start walking on my treadmill by now to get ready for all the walking at WDW. But I have not!! Guess I need to get busy, huh? :rolleyes1 Anyway...my point was that USUALLY I get new "tennis shoes" and break them in whilst breaking in myself on the treadmill. :thumbsup2 However, i can't see me on the treadmill wearing the shoes above. :rotfl:

Any plans tonight??

We are staying home. I have a few fireworks that we will go pop in the back yard in a little while. Then I guess I will be in and out of the Dis for the rest of the night. Woo-hoo!! That either means I'm really cool or really lame. I haven't decided yet. :confused3

Happy New Year! We went to a co-workers house in Livingston Parish (where fireworks are legal). We watched the men(big kids) blow up stuff. They has some dry ice and boy that stuff makes a loud boom. They really did blow up stuff. Ever seen a styrefoam ice chest blown up? I can now say I have.

I need a new pair of tennis shoes too and I have a gift card to Academy waiting be used. I agree with Rosie on the Crocs front. I find them to be the most comfy shoes. I have to get Danielle another pair before we go. She just keeps growing. I'm going to have her try on clothes in the next few days to see what she might need. When we went in 2004 we wore jeans, capris and shorts. I plan on bringing a little of everything. Michelle has more clothes than anyone I know. She still has stuff hanging in her closet with tags on them.

:scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2: Did the styrofoam icechest at least make some snow???

I like going to Academy for tennis shoes. For Disney I usually get "running" shoes. Those seem to be the most comfortable for me. I've tried the "walking" shoes but they don't feel as comfortable as the running one's. I usually get Nike's. :thumbsup2

Yes, as soon as I said that DS was good on jeans, I looked at him wearing a pair of them today and they are getting short again ALREADY!! Good grief this kid is getting tall!

No snow but it was blown to lots of little pieces.

I'm going to look for running shoes too, their lighter. I like a shoe with lots of mesh. I have wide feet and need something that gives a little.

Danielle needs more school pants, they're getting short and too tight in the bum area. She's getting a bum!

We are on our 2nd round of school pants already. I'm hoping we get back to shorts before these pants get too short too!

Blue, if you go back to post #403 you can see the link now. I don't know how it turned into a post back to here. Weird. They are the Saucony's ProGrid Echelon's, pink, silver and black...I think. I've looked at so many shoes I may be telling you wrong.

Can anyone tell that there's a problem with the boards not allowing things to go through properly. :rotfl:
Sorry folks. Every time I tried to put a post through it would tell me it can't go through.....I guess that wasn't the case, was it?
