Ugh-- my mom and brother are enjoying their 5th day at Disney World this very minute, and I'm stuck here at work.
It's been kind of a sticking point with us over the past couple of months. She had originally planned just a short weekend getaway, and unfortunately I couldn't go this weekend because of work obligations.
But then her trip turned into a 5 day park-hopping extravaganza. It's the first time she's ever gone without me. It's a family tradition with us to go every year, which started when I was 9 months old. I'm now almost 30!
I've just been really kind of bummed about it because I feel like she purposely chose a weekend I couldn't go and then it turned into this big thing.
She's still planning on going back (with me and brother and my BF) over Christmas, but somehow the whole thing is just kind of ruined for me because I feel so left out.
Oh well. I just had to vent! I love Disney so much and it KILLS me that they're there without me, especially when I've been having a rotten time at work!!
All I can think about is them walking around Epcot, riding the safari at AK, watching Wishes at MK.....
