Thanks!!! You're right- I know either resort will be great. You know...I think I will actually ask Mister Non-planner on the off chance he will have a preference. I'm going to ask him tonight. It is funny that thought never even crossed my mind!

I am so excited that we will be there at the same time in December . We will have to meet up somewhere, and maybe leave the guys in the room........

DEFINITELY!!! I wouldn't miss that chance for the world! Are you going to the Christmas party??

Ok…So I was talking with my stepmom about October. She isn’t a morning person, so I changed some reservations. She also mentioned we can share a rental car! That saves $200. She is planning to arrive the Friday before me, so when I arrive on Monday, she will pick me up from the airport. Here is the itinerary so far…

Monday October 4, 2010: Arrive around 10am, grab luggage & get picked up. Go check in at YC. Hang around until the 2pm facial. Early dinner at Yachtsman & PM EMH at Magic Kingdom. I’m looking forward to Yachtsman because I love trying new restaurants.

Tuesday October 5, 2010: Head to Universal & IOA. Later dinner planned at the Wave.

Wednesday October 6, 2010: Late breakfast at Boma, maybe hit AK for a little while. Dinner at Coral Reef (for the first time) and PM EMH at EPCOT.

Thursday October 7, 2010: Morning & Afternoon at DHS, dinner at California Grill, then MNSSHP.

Friday October 8, 2010: Late breakfast at Kouzzina, free time (maybe pool time), then PM EMH at Animal Kingdom.

Saturday October 9, 2010: After Dolphins in Depth, this is an entire EPCOT day!

Sunday October 10, 2010: Late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, then free time until dinner at Artist Point & PM EMH at Magic Kingdom.

Monday we leave very early. I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to this nice, long trip. In January I felt too rushed. It doesn’t help that my stepmom is leaving for WDW TOMORROW for a whole week!

I love that you have a nice long trip planned. I'm already feeling rushed on mine. I'm going to be there just as long, but with the marathon and spending two nights at the Hard Rock I don't feel like I have enough park time at Disney. I can't wait to hear about the Dolphins in Depth! I really wanted to get in a tour of some kind, but honestly I just couldn't fit it in.

I’m 34 & taking a (so far) solo trip from October 4th through the 11th. My birthday is the 12th. I’ll be staying at Yacht Club & I know I will definitely be going to MNSSHP & the Food & Wine Festival . Epcot is my favorite park. I want to get to see the new Harry Potter area at Islands of Adventure & haven’t decided whether or not to visit Halloween Horror Nights at Universal
Hey! We're headed down around the same time! (I don't have dates set in stone yet.) We're doing F&WF & MNSSHP, & "Harry Potter Land" as DH calls it. We thought about doing Horror Nights too, but since we did Knotts Scary Farm in CA a few years back, I think we'll pass.

I’m sure we will go somewhere in the summer- maybe even Vegas! (This is Vegas

DH is headed to LV in August. You can get some crazy good deals when it's hot out there! (His trip is my way of saying thanks for putting up with me through nursing school!)

As far as dining goes, I will DEFINITELY be going to Artist Point (We did this last year. It was good, but not a must-do this year.)& California Grill. Some possible visits will be:

I know that’s a long list, but I will narrow it down when the October park hours come out. I feel awfully guilty leaving my dog, Isis, home for a week, but she will be in good hands with my mom. This is Isis in her best Disney gear:

I’m bummed out today & I felt that way this weekend, too. I think it is because my stepmom is in Disney. She texted me photos from Artist Point. How mean is that?!?!?

I am! As much as it's a bit of a hassle, I'm really excited about the two days at Universal. I haven't been there in ten years, so it's really like going to two new parks. I can't wait to hit up the shops in Harry Potter land. How goofy am I that I want to buy a wand?

Awww! I'm sorry your stepmom is in Disney and you're not! But don't worry... you'll be there soon! A friend of mine goes to WDW with her family multiple times each year. It feels like she's always there!!! So whenever I see her Facebook updates, it's always like, "On my way to the Hoop De Doo Review" or "At Hollywood Studios. Just rode Rock 'n Rollercoaster." or "Going Parasailing at Bay Lake today!" So not fair!


Awwww!!! Puppy!!! So cute!!! How old? Boy or girl? Does it have a name yet? Awww!!! Ok, because of this I have to post a cute puppy picture in my next PTR update!

And Isis is adorable as always...of course!!!

Thanks! January was the first time I set foot in the Yacht Club...I was hooked! The cast members were awesome & the rooms are HUGE!

Thanks! I keep going back & forth about getting a digital SLR. I would want to bring it to the parks, but I wouldn't be able to leave it in a locker to go on water rides or other rides that they don't allow anyone to take bags on. I would love one, though.
