I'm still with you April. I haven't been posting as much lately either .

You definitely want a costume that will be cool. Even though my costume dress was short; I thought I was going to have a heat stroke . It was SOOOOO hot.

Your pictures of the food are good. That steak looks delicious .

Thanks! Well, the fun weekend stuff is over. John is back to work. It made me think, though, that we (John & I) need to do more than just go to dinner. Luckily, when I suggested maybe bowling or dance lessons, he sounded interested! I just want to get out & do different things. We are supposed to go bowling this weekend now & it should be interesting. I haven't bowled in about 10 years. We'll see if I can keep the ball in my own lane.
When are you in WDW next year?? I am going to plan a short summer trip next year. This summer was WAAAAAAY too long without WDW!!!

That food was awesome. John loved the steak. What you can't see is the hickory smoked roasted corn with parmesan inside the artichoke on my plate. I didn't take photos of the appetizers, either- we had a cheese plate & fondue that was amazing!
I'm definitely happy with the costume being cooler. Now I have to find shorts to go with the rest of it.
I'm so happy you will be there in December! I am going to update my itinerary this week.

I wanted to update my December itinerary & share some of my December photos from 2007. I have to apologize in advance for the quality of some of the photos.

Monday December 6, 2010- Arrive at 11am. We will pick up the rental car (I got a convertible!) and stop at Winn Dixie for some snacks & water. We will most likely take the monorail to Epcot for a short time, then dinner at Artist Point. If we aren’t too tired, we will head over to EMH at MK.

Tuesday December 7, 2010- Breakfast at Kona café at 10am, then possibly Universal & IOA. I want to be sure to get to DHS for Osborne lights before our late dinner at California Grill.

Wednesday December 8, 2010- I am planning on heading to AK early, then whatever in the afternoon until our dinner at Yachtsman.

Thursday December 9, 2010- We will have breakfast at 1900 Park Fare followed by the afternoon at Epcot. Dinner is booked at Crystal Palace and we will spend the evening at MVMCP.

Friday December 10, 2010- We leave for the airport at about 8:30am.

All the pictures are making me wish I could go back in December again. Baring winning the lottery it sadly just isn't possible.

I love the idea for the Halloween costume. You'll be nice and comfortable all night long.

I would love love love to go to Disney at Christmas time. As a matter of fact, I said that this weekend......I want to go to Disney at Halloween and Christmas. But, like If U Had Wings said, I've got to win the lottery first.

Oh, you asked what our dates were next Summer. We'll be there May 25th through June 4th. I may have to change it to May 26th through June 4th 'cause I added in an extra day that my boss doesn't know about. I may start feeling bad about doing that later on and cut it back to the 25th.

I love WDW during October & the first 2 weeks in December. The crowds aren't too bad & the atmosphere is great! I still wish I could have worked out a summer trip this year (summer hours are the best!)...but I couldn't afford another trip. I'm already pushing it by going in December.
I'm thinking of a long weekend trip in June next year. I REALLY missed WDW this summer & last summer.

Sorry I have been MIA for a while. I promise to get caught up on everyone's threads this weekend. I have been SO full of anxiety lately that I had to ask my doctor for help. I feel relieved that they could actually help me & I slept last night for the first time in weeks. You know...I bet I wouldn't be this bad if I went to WDW this summer!!! It is just all work related anxiety & I am usually able to let it go. For some reason, I just can't this time. I keep telling myself- everything will be better in October....on the 4th to be precise.

Actually- in this case the economy is not what is driving me nuts. My co-workers are major slackers & I am the one who ends up doing all the work. I just can't believe some people totally take their jobs for granted.
I LOVE my doctors & the health facilities I visit. They have all been fantastic & very helpful. Actually- the doctors are good, but the nurses are GREAT.

Just when things seem to be getting back to normal...Friday we had to put our cat down. He was 21. It is tough having a pet for so long & having to let go like that. It was definitely his time. He was a great cat, though. Here is Binky earlier this year (showing his age):

I also found out my Dad is getting a divorce- from his 3rd wife. Which is not a bad thing. She is a miserable human being & the reason I have only seen my Dad maybe a handful of times in the last 10 years.

So I guess I feel like there is this tornado of chaos going on in my life right now. This just makes me feel like I have to really take care of myself that much more. I really can't wait for October. I found out last night that my brother may be joining us for that last weekend! I'm just really counting the days until then. Thank goodness for you guys & your PTRs & Trs. You all keep me sane.
