Most underrated attraction at DL or DCA?

Maybe this is a silly question, but given all the Casey Jr answers on this thread - can adults ride that without kids, or would that be weird? I'm pretty sure that's the only ride at DLR we've never ridden even after countless visits (we were locals with APs for 5 years), because I always assumed it was for kids and their parents.

This is Disneyland we're talking about! It's definitely not off limits to adults. My husband and I ride it and no one seems to care.

DCA - Animation Building (includes Animation Academy, Turtle Time, Anna/Elsa greeting, and Sorcerer Workshop) -- not officially an attraction, but the building itself has an awesome central area that is a great place to hang out for a while on a hot day (or just to rest your feet). It's usually almost always the place we gravitate to in the mid afternoon. Also, the store that is connected to it, has a lot of neat stuff.

DL - Casey Jr, Pinocchio ride, or the play areas in Toon town

My family is all adults and we ride it. I am just specific about where I'll sit and if I can't get a "normal" seat, I'll wait for the next train.

While we are all adults, we are all weird. So, if it is weird to ride it, it fits in with us in general anyway.

That last comment...LOL! I guess you have a good point there that would apply to us, too.

Yay, a new ride for me to try in October! Thanks, everyone. :)

For me it'd be Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. I never really hear it talked about but I love it. The queue is amazing with tons of details, love it almost as much as the ride itself. Before Universal opened Harry Potter it was probably the best queue. The ride itself while being a standard dark ride is still one of their better ones I feel and the spinning mechanic is a unique twist on them that I haven't seen used anywhere else. Doesn't hurt that I always loved the movie too

DL: Storybook land Canal boats. This ride is just so cute!! I’m sad I never appreciated this when I was younger. Now I really love it
I still have yet to go on this ride. Thought about it the last time, but I never made it.

I like Snow White's Scary Adventure. Ride it several times and watch the folks wait FOREVER for Peter Pan

Like dieumeye, I gave it a miss until I had kids, and now it is one ride I absolutely won't miss, and will ride it several times, even when I went on my solo trips. I'm particularly partial to riding it in the evenings -- that's when it's most magical, and like cruisehopeful, if I can't get the seat I prefer, I'll wait until the next train.

My vote is also for Casey Jr. and Animation Academy! I figured people might like Animation Academy, but I am actually really surprised about the amount of people mentioning Casey Jr. I thought I was going to be really odd mentioning it. I was really impressed about how enjoyable it was the first time I rode it (when DD was ~2.5 yrs old).

I adore the railroad! I was so sad when it was closed for so long for SWGE construction!

If you haven't been lately, I think you will be excited to see the recent changes! The new rockwork near SWGE is great, but I'm actually referring to the refurb on the Grand Canyon scenes. They look amazing! We went right after that area had been unveiled and the glass was so clear that we really thought it wasn't there for a while.

Definitely Casey Jr Circus Train. For many reasons. It’s a great experience with a great story tied directly into one of the animated classics. But the fact they were able to squeeze this into the space available, and how it sort of intersects with the Storybook land ride as well = pure magic.

What are the best seats??

We haven't been to DLR for 2 years and 2 months, which is tragically long for us (yes, huge first world problem of course), but we are going in October. I also just calculated that because of the closure and when our trips have been, we haven't been on the railroad since July 2015..now that is tragic! I'm excited to see the updates, though!

wow 49 posts later and the best 10 feet at Disneyland surfaces....which may be a good sign as not being under appreciated....the key is the .."ride several times" to take in all the detail of the Kitchen and clock wall.....and a good attraction for your bucket list for .." how may times can I ride a Fantasyland attraction in the same vehicle?"

as for casey jr.....a great attraction at night....especially if you are in caged!!!

I love Turtle Talk with Crush in DCA. "You so totally rock.....DUDE!" always makes me smile.
