Most Overrated things people rave about at WDW

1. Test Track (2.0)... (I enjoy it but OVERRATED in the new form) (Amazing in the old form)
2. Deluxe Resorts (I'm sorry but why is 1K a night [GF TPV in December] a necessary thing?)
2B. CONTEMPORARY (It has ZERO appeal to me)
3. Club Level (It so much extra and all you get is some cheap breakfast?)
4. Chef Mickey (the character meets were the quickest and unremarkable we've had...)
5. School Bread (GROSS!)
6. Jungle Cruise (Its better as Jingle Cruise)
7. POP (people say it's the best of the values. DISAGREE! Fiance's first trip we had an AWFUL experience. He refuses to go back! [ASMo is my fave value])

I'm sure there's more I'll think on it :P

-character dining, but my kids were middle school age, maybe if dd was still 5 in her "belle" stage it might be different
-much of the food i found average but there are lots of options
-parades - that main street one was memorable for how much i hated it, it was going on when we walked in the park our first day of our first visit. i didn't even realize it was a parade, i thought i had stepped into the seventh ring of hell and couldn't figure out how i would last for an entire week
-half the resorts are out of consideration for us because of impossibly large duggar-like family (THREE children)
-extra crap, dessert parties, fp for fireworks, mvmcp or mnsshp <-not sure if i got that right

but loved fantasmic, dole whips, the transportation system, downtown disney, all the parks and the dining plan. hope the canadian dollar has some recovery and we can pick a time to return that includes free dining!

-MSEP. I really don't like the music for this one. I miss Spectromagic.
-Dole Whip (just okay, but I love Mickey ice cream bars!)
-New Test Track. I didn't realize it had changed so much, and I honestly thought I was on an entirely different ride at first. Like the old version better.
-IllumiNations. I'll take Fantasmic or Wishes any day.
-Actually, most of Epcot. It's just not my park.
-Toy Story Mania. It's cool, but not something I'd wait in a long line for.
-Turkey legs. Gross.
-Tsum Tsum. :confused3
-Frozen. I am so sick of this movie and everything associated with it!

I used to think the pin lanyards were overrated until I got one and realized how addicting it can be!

Character meet and greets..

boggles my mind how even when people that are beyond a certain age who know that these are people in costumes, will still wait an hour or more for pictures.
I get if your little toddler is there, it's like meeting Santa at the mall, they believe it's really them.

It boggles your mind that different people like different things? Okay.

totally agree

Meet and greet for me (almost 43) is to meet good comedians and have fun with them. With The costume characters i take hugs Because i need them, that make My day better. I am sure They choose them for The quality of their hugs when They Hiring them :flower3:

And i meet Santa at Disney and he Was The real Santa Because he talk in french with me! It's an undeniable proof

You have to understand that the Country Bear Jamboree is making fun of the mountain people, colloquially called 'hillbillies' and their music. My family is from that area of the Southern US and I suppose I could be offended by it, but I find it to be a hilarious stereotypical portrayal of hillbilly culture.
And I LOVE the corny jokes!

1. CRT breakfast...love Akershus so much more!!!!!
2. Indiana Jones show.. So boring!!!!
3. Jungle cruise... Quite dull...unless you ride at night.....then we enjoy it more.
4. Test Track... Nice ride but the "exciting" part at the end is Like riding in a convertible on the interstate.
5. figment ride

I wasn't aware that anyone raved about the Indiana Jones show or the Figment ride.

I'm going on my first trip ever in December of 2017, I'm from Winnipeg in Canada and growing up we could never make a trip happen due to my mom getting extremely sick. I'll be just about 26 when I go, I never got to experience Disney as a toddler or a young child. Of course I'm going to meet characters! I'll be at Disney, and it's something I've waited my whole life to do. If it makes someone happy, who cares how old they are :P

It's a Small World (Sorry, that song though)
Illuminations (Not the original, that was amazing)
The Main Street Electric Parade (I am not a parade person, so that is just me.)
The Water Parks
Tikki Room

I was okay with Small World until the time we got stuck on the ride for 40 minutes with that song, over and over and over. Now i can't stand it to hear the song even hummed.

Wishes Dessert Party (on Tomorrowland Terrace). We were so excited for our first time doing this... but all 5 of us were really under-whelmed.

I hear it's been going through or will go through changes. 1. Is more expensive now (we went in 2014) and 2. Will be set in the new hub area.

For us, it was one and done!

I don't understand the whole pin trading thing. I don't get why anyone would want to wear a heavy lanyard full of pins all day.
