Most Overrated things people rave about at WDW

fireworks - huge crowds, siteline obscured, Ipads in the air and massive humanity. No thanks.

The pretzel bread dipped in cheese soup at Le Cellier. I was so excited to try this and was so disappointed once I did. That soup is not good. I like cheese, I like bacon and I like the taste of beer, but I guess I just don't like them all mixed together.

Also, Flame Tree. I really wanted to try it out because I miss good BBQ when we are out of town. I was sorely disappointed and didn't even eat more than a few bites of my ribs. They were barely edible.

Illuminations is just OK for me.

Haunted Mansion
Snoarin
Le Cellier
Grand Floridian
Crystal Palace
Dining Plan (Unless it is free)
Ohana's

I would agree with the Crystal Palace, the Grand Floridian (way to expensive and I hate the theme) and the Dining Plan (its getting to expensive for a family of four) but I love Soarin' (especially looking forward to the update), Le Cellier has a great steak, and Ohana's has arguably the best family style tied with Liberty Tree Tavern.

Blasphemy on Flame Tree!!!! Thats all right more ribs for me:)

Indiana Jones (I'd rather see the dentist!)
Fantasmic!
Turkey Legs
Pinnochio Village Haus
Cape May Clambake

The only thing I can think of is Mickey Bars. It was a good ice cream bar, but it wasn't great.

Disney Resort Hotels--why pay the price when you can rent a house or stay at WBC and get much more for much less?
Disney Transportation--sorry, grew up in NYC. Public transportation is not my idea of fun, or vacation.
Parades and fireworks--Just not that exciting for us. I'd rather take advantage of short lines for other attractions than watching either.
Turkey Legs--Bizarre, just bizarre.
Anything Anna & Elsa--maybe it's just that we don't have any girls.

Orange Magic Bands are over-rated. Never go orange.
No Poland in World Showcase is a travesty.
No liquor store at WDW

And yes to the helmet BBB hair! Holy cow!

My sister said she's heard good things about BBB, so I looked it up on YouTube. Yikes! The amount of product they were loading into the kid's hair was CRAZY! I'm sure it's a great photo-op, but looks a little too "pageant-mom" for me. No way my 5yo would find that fun, and she loves make-overs and dress-up.

Enchanted tiki room
Deluxe Resorts
Using a fastpass to see fireworks (Just look up...they are in the sky)
Mission Space
Desert Parties

I seem to pick at least one dud activity for my family each trip.....so these are the items that were not hits for us.

1. Akerhus character meal
2. Pirate's League
3. Jungle Cruise
4. But probably the worst of all.....minnies holiday dine. Boy, that is money and time we are never getting back.

Blasphemy against Jungle Cruise!!!!! That is like one of the best rides out there. Missing Skipper Ben

The Polynesian

I just don't get it. It's like a cheesy "The Brady Bunch goes to Hawaii". It's so dated. Don't get me wrong- we really, really try to "get it". We have eaten multiple meals there, saw fireworks from the beach, had drinks at the bars, walked the grounds but, still, think it is so dated and blah. I remember even taking the elevator in the lobby- it was like an old department store elevator- small and dated.

But I will say I enjoy Grand Floridian- the live orchestra is wonderful and you can request Disney tunes. There is something so magical watching kids dance on the "stage" in front of the elevator as a live orchestra plays a Disney tune.

They just need Mr. Hanalei there to say "Bring evil to all who touch" around the tikis.

The Lion King show at Animal Kingdom. The film is one of my favourites but just think the show is meh. Don't like the stage set up, don't like the whole show to be honest.
