Glad you had a nice holiday.

Things aren't looking too goog for keeping both puppies right now. If it were just up to me, I would. Hope things improve between them and my hubby as the week goes on.

You had to work today? Is it only a holiday there for some?

We are having pretty hot weather here this weekend too. We broke a record for temps. It was warm in 1993 too!! Seemed like August instead of Oct.

Moo, too bad about he puppies being so skittish with DH, hope it works out!

I have a big huge breakfast meeting tomorrow at Pleasure Island, with all Finance People from Parks, Resorts, Downtown Disney and F&B Finance. And maybe some others, with our VP. About the only time I set foot in a PI club, LOL! So it's at 9am. which means I have to leave here by about 7:45. And nobody around to make sure I wake up. So I either make it, or I will be out sick tomorrow. At any rate, going to turn in early tonight.

So why is it I just got wide awake again, arrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

I will not exactly be dancing the night away at PI at 9am. But breakfast is promised, I am guessing continental.

It wouldn;t be so bad if I had someone to wake me up, but DH is long long gone by then, like 4 am (and that is too early for me) and DD has afternoon classes. I just have to try to set my brain into wakeup mode. Or else call in sick tomorrow (cough, cough!)

Someone broke into our cars last night and stole stuff.

DH had to go close our checking acct and rekey the locks. We weren't sure if a checkbook might be in there or a spare set of keys (it's a DH thing).

Worst of all was that they threw DHs Bible in the front yard and it rained buckets last night.

p.s. I really liked that movie. It totally cracked me up. So I will accept that as my name.

PJ- The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. My problem with My Fair Lady is the sad ending. Though I don't really know what should have happened. Kind of like GWTW- unsatisfying but in your heart you know that any other ending wouldn't ring true.

Not gonna lie, I don't even remember how it ended. There were too many angry songs toward the end. IT all sort of blurred together. And what is GWTW?

And I even considered going that way because it's pretty, but I think it takes longer.
And I'm not at the hair curler hotel, but it's off the same exit!

Lexi-- you are right. I get up early every morning and that is why when we chat so late it takes it's toll sometimes. I used to have to be at leave for work at 5:30 be there at 6:00 so 7:00 or 8:00 is sleeping in...

Babynurse-- I am not big on musicals. I have never even seen Gone with the Wind. I have seen scenes from the movie but never the whole thing....

I could do turkey dinners anytime of the year......I still have one turkey left in the downstairs freezer......

If I was positive it was going to be chilly and not hot I would put it in the oven next weekend and cook one with stuffing and the whole nine yards.....gotta love it....

I am sitting here in my housecoat ..finished my coffee and I guess I will start on my day plan.....to do my closet......get rid of the stuff that I dont want or care about......this is great to do.

Mornin' All!

Nab, pretty much only federal employees get Columbus Day off - it's not a holiday that is very widely celebrated. Turkey dinner sounds great to me! I had Schwan's turkey mignon last night for dinner. Pretty goog, but it took a while to cook since it was frozen. I liked it better pan fried last night than last time when I grilled it.

Hubby did better with the pups this morning.

Steph, so sorry to hear about your theft and DH's bible.
