MOOvin' Along - Goog Times, Goog Friends . . . Part 2

My friend's husband went with her to a high school musical before they brought her over to his mom's for the surprise birthday party this afternoon. HIS friends said they would have to revoke his "man card" for going to a musical :rotfl2:
Guess I'm in big trouble. I love musicals. Especially the Busby Berkeley variety. I love it when Mickey Rooney says, Let's put on a show! But My Fair Lady is not one of my favorites. I bet bbn agrees with me on Oklahoma, though.:thumbsup2

Goog Morning, Sunshines!!

Have a nice Monday. :sad2:

GOOG MORNING!

Thanks for thinking of me, Lil Miss Sunshine!

It's the DST, I tell ya! How do you get up when it's so darn DARK outside!? I get up with the sun.

And UD....I saw you sneeking back in here! Welcome! Why are you up so early?

PJ....My Fair Lady? Boring? I gotta read back.

MISTY....Cute princess dress! I admire your crafty skills...of which I have none! Your daughter is beautiful!

WENDY
...Are you writing a trip report? Or just showing the pictures? Whichever...hunker down!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I YAM hunkering!

Hold your pants on....:rolleyes1

So it's Columbus Day! Kids, kids, every where KIDS!
Kids underfoot. Kids sprawled out. Kids, kids, kids :dance3:

I forgot to ask my daycare mamas if they're coming today. So far no buddies, but that can change. I hope they DO come, though. I only have 2 daycare kids and I kind of miss them when they're gone

Happy Columbus Day!!!! Don't mind the half scale Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria in my front yard...;)

Cool cause I am totally dressing up as Queen Isabella today. For reals ;)

Just a pop in- I'll be back later to properly comment. It is dark and raining here. All small twinkies were up at 6 am on both weekend days so of course today is a goog day to sleep in. On the prairie we do NOT celebrate Columbus day or Canadian Thanksgiving so I must get everybody up and at- em.

However, oddly enough, we do celebrate The End of First Quarter so no school Friday. Or next Wednesday. Or Thursday. Or Friday.

I have to go cheerlead aka nag. And try to meet my goal of smelling nice. TM BBN

Spongie: Your dd is simply precious. Love the dress :thumbsup2

DTD:
I do agree with you. Love "Oklahoma". My favorite is "Singin' In the Rain" though, but I like lots of musicals.

Twinkie: My kids are at school too. Also, I did go to the gym, which is a goog thing, but it means that my goal of smelling nice has not yet been reached. Don't worry, it will be soonishly.

Goog Morning To Anybody Else I Missed (is that a tm of Twink?)

Happy Columbus Day, everyone!!!

Spongie, mad sewing skillz you have!

Happy 3rd trimester, MP! The end is near...

Twinkie, do you still have toes in your lungs? I hope Grasshopper is behaving for you.

Uma, your Columbus Day display is fab ... though are you aware that your Santa Maria is a scoche too tall for neighborhood regulations? tsk tsk. ;)

Happy "A Guy Mooched Ships from the Spanish and got LOST" Day!!!

Moo- The pups are darling. I hope you get to keep both.
Marita- Your family is sooo cute. Every last one of them! It looks like you all are having a great time. DD is very pretty like her mama and the new BF is a :thumbsup2
SpongeMisty- You have serious sewing skittles! The dress is lovely and the model is beautiful too.
PJ- The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. My problem with My Fair Lady is the sad ending. Though I don't really know what should have happened. Kind of like GWTW- unsatisfying but in your heart you know that any other ending wouldn't ring true.
Lexi- Hi!
MP- Welcome to the third trimester! Isn't it exciting???? Now I need a nap from all the exclamation points.
DTD- How are you? How is real life? Have you started your real trip report? When you do give us a link!

speaking of links

UtahMama- your link isn't working for me. But I found your trippie anyways. Greatreportthanksforsharing!
Underdog- Hi. :wave2:
MeanMama- Thanks for pointing out Uma's little problem with the neighborhood covenants. ;) And I am hanging in here. There are no words to describe exactly how exhausted I am. The tiny feet are not in my lungs at the moment. Grasshopper is entertaining us all by sticking out feet and elbows in cute little lumps. He (?) also enjoys a good game of tag.
Babynurse- I went to the gym too. But only to watch the little twinkies work out.

and of course

Good Morning to Anyone Else I May Have Missed!

I got called last night to be in at 5 am, so I'm home early. Nice.
bbn- I saw Singin in the Rain on a screen in the amphitheater at Iroquois Park(in Louisville) summer of '91, and(almost) right on cue, it started raining. They didn't stop the movie, although half the crowd left.
Twinkie, I have the outline done(and they said we'd never use it in real life{oh is theis real life?}). As soon as I can get pix from Jeff(aka Mickey) I'll get started.
Undredog, we're really underMANned around here, you need to hang out more.

Putting my vote in for Paint Your Wagon (one of very few musicals my hubby will watch)! But I've never seen Pirates of Penzance, Twink!!!

Trying to get through work today . . . fretting about how the pups are doing. Still hacking and drowsy from the cough syrup.

MP- Welcome to the third trimester! Isn't it exciting???? Now I need a nap from all the exclamation points.

Those aren't exclamation points. ;)

I could have sworn that I posted earlier when I was on. But it's not here, so I guess I only thought about posting and then didn't. :cool2:

I really don't have anything exciting to say. I'm back to normal this week. I feel pretty goog and we did lots of school. One day of math and we double and tripled up on phonics. And Jeremiah finished his book about Squanto, which he read on his own and actually told me all about it. :woohoo:

I am out now. We are officially all caught up with Prison Break and have to watch it live like normal folks. :scared:

Have a good night.

Goog catch, MommyP! I'm still LOLing, Twink

Wendy, glad you found the other little things in your goody bag!

Forgot to say hi to Undie earlier - long time no see.

Thanks for all the comments on my mad sewing Skittles (Love......... it)
it's all Wendy's fault :guilty: she hook lined and sinkered me:rolleyes1. i guess she needed a partner in crime to fabric shop with:rolleyes1:rotfl: (love ya wendy) i put up a fight when she started and now i can't stop... but i like everything i have done so far ... well!!! i have a very mad 2 yr old at my feet screaming "mom" mom" mommy" so i guess i gotta go. Be back later. (i hope)

Mmmmmm, pistachios!

Marie, my Grandma surprised me when she came out with those words every now and again

Evening Ladies....

Had all my comfort foods this Thanksgiving. All my brothers and sisters were there, which is every rare for the a holiday meal. Usually someone is at the other side. But not this time. So it was great catching up with everyone. Teasing the neices and nephews.

Marita -- we celebrate Oktorberfest in my home town big time. Loved your pictures of your family. The first thing I noticed was your dd dress. They had a Thanksgiving/Oktoberfest parade today. There is a lot of German clubs and beer tents to go too. Used to have a hat with lots of pins and a huge feather. Love to watch the dancers.

Spongie-- beautiful job on the dress. How exciting that you are going to Disneyland soon with UMA.

Moo-- Cute puppies!!!!!! I hope you get to keep both.

Hi to everyone :wave2:
