New series premiere! July 10 right after ZOMBIES 4 on Disney Channel.

Just saw the first two episodes live on Disney Channel. A refreshing sitcom so far. I think the style of the current band members’ storytelling of their 9th grade selves closely resembles a bit of The Office.

I was hoping Disney would do another music themed series. It's no Hannah Montana, but it's pretty good. Although, as a doll collector I didn't appreciate the two girls reaction to the museum.

Is it me… or does anyone think Lucas Jasper (the guy all 3 band members are gushing on) looks almost like Patrick Mahomes’ son?

Wow… tonight’s 2nd new episode was quite a touchy one. Jade was trying to evade a podcast taping… all because it fell on such a sad day. Namely, it was the birthday of one of Jade’s relatives who passed away. I literally teared up when Jade mentioned the reason for her fake boyfriend acting.

So rare to have such subject matter make it here to Disney. Of course, conveying the realities of a loved one passing away from a perspective like Jade’s is quite imperfect, but it’s good to know that some effort was being put in.

I'm loving the music on this show, but the writing could use some improvement. It's just not up to par with Hannah Montana or Austin & Ally.
